THE PENINSULA PARIS WINS FORBES TRAVEL GUIDE FIVE-STAR AWARD

The Peninsula Paris has achieved the Five-star rating from Forbes Travel Guide for the

second time

Since 1958, Forbes Travel Guide - originator of the Five Star Ratings - has established the

benchmark for excellence in global hospitality. For more than 50 years, professional incognito

inspectors have travelled the world to find the finest hotels, restaurants and spas, spotlighting

each property's best attributes through Five-Star, Four-Star and Recommended ratings.

Announced on Wednesday February 22nd, this prestigious award recognizes The Peninsula

Hotel’s first European property as one of the finest hotels in the world, delivering guest

service and an experience beyond expectations.

“Being selected as a Five Star property by the very prestigious Forbes Travel Guide is a

great recognition for The Peninsula Paris” says General Manager Katja Henke “and I am

very proud of our team’s efforts and commitment, without whom this recognition wouldn’t

have been possible to achieve. I would also like to thank our owners, Katara Hospitality and

The Peninsula Hotels for their great dedication.”

The Peninsula Paris is the renaissance of a modern day palace. Housed in an exquisitely

restored 19th century French building in the heart of the elegant 16th arrondissement, it is just

from the Arc de Triomphe and within walking distance of the city’s most exclusive luxury

shopping, dining and cultural attractions. Steeped in history, it sets new standards in luxury

design and comfort with spectacular skyline views.

From the building’s façade to the interior, elements painstakingly introduced by local

architects and artisans, include fine marble, rich wood paneling and gold leaf finishing. Each

room offers a taste of timeless and modern aesthetic, combining distinct Parisian influences

with Peninsula signature functionality. Its collection of six eclectic restaurant and bar options

bring a new dimension of dining to the City of Light, whilst the elegant Spa allows guests to

refresh and revitalise body and mind in sumptuous surroundings. Combining classic Parisian

chic and world-class hospitality, The Peninsula Paris is a coveted location for memorable

moments in the French capital.
