Friday March the 2nd: The Cluster Swimming Spor ts for Gr3-6 are at Rochester Swimming Pool. A separate note will be sent home next week.

As you all know, my name is Caliope.

I have completed all my primary school years at this

amazing school with all of you. Now, my little brother is also

very lucky to be able to come and complete his primary

school years here at Raywood.

I am very fortunate to have experienced learning with all

our amazing teachers.

Mrs Colbert nurtured my love of learning, which has made

me push myself to do well, not only at school, but in sport

and other outside school activities.

Mrs Lightburn took over from where Mrs Colbert left off,

helping me to achieve in the classroom, encouraging and

engaging my love of learning.

Mr Collins has helped (and pushed!!) me to do the best I

possibly can in Art and Music. He has also fed my love of

sport and fitness which has helped me fulfil many sporting

and personal achievements both in and out of school.

Raywood Primary School has a wonderful sense of com-

munity and caring. We all look after each other and re-

spect, not only ourselves, but our friends, family and

teachers.

I believe that I would be a good School Captain as I am

responsible and caring. I try to be a positive role model for

younger students by following our school values (We are

the School with a Heart!!). I am passionate about learning

and enjoy helping and seeing my friends do well.

I am not going to make crazy claims like, I will get you less

homework, but, I will work hard and continue to be the

same person whether I am elected or not.

Now, I would like to thank you all for taking the time to lis-

ten to what I had to say. If you vote for me, I will make the

rest of the school year the best it can be.

THANK YOU. By Caliope Humphries.

Good Morning Teachers and Students.

For those who don’t know me, my

name is Nash. I have been attending

Raywood Primary School since Prep.

I would love the opportunity to be-

come one of the School Captains and

to lead the students into the 2018

School year.

I would be honoured to represent

Raywood Primary School as a Student

Leader, to help students and teachers

make this School an even better

place.

I would be very happy if you vote for

me.

Thank You for your time and have a

great day.

Nash Stageman

Good afternoon Teachers, Students

and Aides.

My name is Laine Paris and I have

attended Raywood Primary School for

six years now.

Here are a few reasons why I think

that School Captain would be a great

role for me.

Now as everyone here should know, I

am a very friendly person that is willing

to help everyone and anyone in

need.

I believe that I could help the School

in many more ways than one with all

my thoughts and ideas.

I may need some help along the way

but I can guarantee that I will give it

my best shot and try to get everything

right, so I hope that I can become the

Raywood Primary School Captain.

I would like to say a big thankyou to

everyone for listening!!!

By Laine Paris.

Good Morning Everybody.

I am Addison Humphries as you all know. I’d like to

start with a big Thank You to all the teachers and

other staff for teaching me over the last 7 years I’ve

been at Raywood Primary School. The last 7 years

have been fun, lots of learning, sport, games and

can’t forget the camps, as well as the cool friends I

have made and the AWESOME teachers I’ve had.

I have lived in Raywood all my life. I have an older

sister Molly who was also a student here and I have

a baby brother who will also come to Raywood

Primary School.

For my last year here, I’d love the challenge of be-

ing School Captain. Representing our small country

school at our Cluster days out and trips. I think I

have good people skills, as well as communicate

well with everybody. If there is something you like to

talk about, I’m all ears, happy to sit and listen, chat

and see if there is anything I could do to help.

I look forward to my last year at Raywood Primary

School and hopefully I can be an awesome School

Captain, if I am picked.

Thank you for your time and good luck to everyone

else doing their speeches as well today.

By Addison Humphries.

As you all know my name is Ryan.

I think I would make a great School Captain

because I really enjoy helping people. I

always try to achieve the best I can at

every thing I do.

Anyone can come to me if they need help or

advice or if they are upset and I will

always try to help them.

Representing Raywood Primary School would

be a great honour because I think it’s a great

School and we are all lucky to be a part of it.

It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, pass or fail,

short or tall, fast or slow. Everyone should be

treated as an equal and I will make sure you

are.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to

show everyone that if I’m voted in as School

Captain, I’ll do my very best to help

Everyone whether I’m School Captain or Not.

By Ryan Van De Leur

Hello my name is Catelyn.

My favourite hobby is Crafting and I’m

going to give you some reasons on why I

should be School Captain.

I think I should be School Captain because I

care about people when they are hurt, left

out of things or even crying.

My goals are to learn all the timetables by the

end of the year.

To make people happy and do what they

love. Also to set good examples for the little

ones.

I am a nice person to everyone I meet. When

I want to do something I do it straight away. I

also am quite helpful when it comes to writing

and I help people think of ideas to write

down.

I never give up at anything I do.

I hope you enjoyed my speech and please

vote for me to be School Captain.

Thank you for listening.

By Catelyn Baulch.
