The iR1200 is a ruggedized wireless modem designed to work within the iDEN®

network. A powerful, fl exible, and wireless platform on which to base distributed applications. The standalone unit is built to withstand vibration, temperature, humidity, ignition noise and physical shock associated with mobile and industrial environments. The iR1200 provides cost-effective packet data and circuit data and optional GPS communication for mobile resource management.

Integrated GPS (optional)The iR1200 provides latitude and longitude position information through a dedicated RS-232 connector.

Communications GatewayThe iR1200 provides an interface for TCP/IP devices allowing them to access the packet data network.

Power Source OptionsThe modem can be powered from multiple sources, including vehicle battery power and solar panels, to provide data from remote locations.

Ignition SenseThe iR1200 modem will detect when the vehicle ignition is turned on or off and will automatically power up/down the modem.
