Chairman’s Chat
Hi all,
So here we are a quarter of the way through the season already and I hope you all have enjoyed the rallies so far this year. Thanks again to the committee for ideas and hard work you continually do and your roles supporting me as Chairman. We send a warm welcome new members Budgie and Caroline, current membership stands at 41 so we seem to be going in the right direction. Once again a big thank you to all members for taking part and for your support, that’s what makes the committee’s job worthwhile. See you all on the rally field soon,
Adam

Rally Report New Park Farm – Easter Rally
We had a great turn out, nearly 30 units for our Easter Rally, plenty of things going on and everyone took part. We all enjoyed Jim’s ‘Mensa’ style quiz on Friday, Adam’s Musical Bingo on Saturday and the kids had fun as always on their Egg Hunt on Sunday and with their Piñata in the evening. Most members enjoyed a visit from the Ice Cream Man. We had great feedback from members saying thank you to the committee for their efforts in making it an enjoyable weekend for all, …. well other than the joker being won by the same person TWICE! Obviously Barry had his winning streak on that weekend but hopefully plenty of other opportunity for members to win next time. Many thanks to Mac and Bev for being our Rally Marshals.

Rally Report
Oakfield – May Day Bank Holiday Again another good turnout, about 20 units enjoyed a cloudy but mostly dry May Day Bank Holiday weekend and again a lot of good positive feedback about members enjoying themselves. Thanks to Sharon for organising a Treasure Hunt, most took part, enjoying a day out in Chichester. The silly games went down well and made everyone laugh especially Mark with his expert hip thrusting while wearing the stockings and Char does have video footage for anyone who wants to see!! Thanks to those involved for their perseverance in the rain whilst doing the BBQ and getting fairly well smoked out, but again it was worth it as all enjoyed their dinner. The horse racing evening saw most members placing a cheeky little bet or two and roaring home their steed. Thanks to Barry for organising and to Mary and Victoria at ‘the Bookies’. Those who stayed until Tuesday were rewarded with a gloriously sunny morning, and only succeeded in delaying the journey home as long as possible. Many thanks to Alan and Sandy for being our Rally Marshalls.
