A Take Action Project encourages girls to address a cause of an issue. Girls familiarize themselves with an issue through study, develop skills and knowledge and make a plan in order to solve the issue. Take Action Projects have measurable impact and are sustainable.

Parent Meeting• Make the meeting “no kids allowed”

• Maximize the time/date/location so all parents can attend

• Be Prepared: Have an Agenda and the proper forms and information

• Explain that while you are the leader it takes a village to maintain a successful troop

• Use your Parent Involvement Form to identify interests and availability

• Share your plans for the year and ask for their input and ideas
