In addition to accreditation under the Australian Institute for Non-Destructive Testing (AINDT) and as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), ATTAR is also a British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing Approved Qualifying Body (AQB) and Approved Training Organization (ATO), providing a pathway for PCN certification and re- certification through the British Institute of Non- Destructive Testing (BINDT). ATTAR also offer ASNT SNT- TC-1A training and examinations for in-house certification. Successful completion of ATTAR Training Courses may be used as a pathway to: • Complete other qualifications, such as a Certificate/Diploma within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF); • AINDT certification in accordance with Australian Standard: AS3998 / ISO9712 and; PCN certification in accordance with ISO9712 and EN 473. Where applicable, initial AINDT examination fees are included in the course fees. A 3 day short course on NDT methods providing a unique opportunity to broaden NDT knowledge. Geared towards those in leadership roles, this course offers the benefit of enhanced supervision of NDT Technicians and offers a breadth of knowledge on a wide range of NDT methods along with the knowledge required to select and appraise an appropriate NDT method. A Materials Engineering course designed to provide an understanding of the materials involved in NDT examination. A 3 day introductory and 5 day level 2 course leading to AINDT certification for the heat treatment of welds in steel using electrical resistance equipment. UT specialist courses in conveyor belts, castings, forgings, nodes/nozzles and corrosion (UTCORR) provide the opportunity for Technicians to gain highly specialised skills and knowledge relevant to their current or planned work activity. 09.2011

• Refresher Courses, Recertification Training andAssessment

Selected NDT refresher courses are available forTechnicians seeking to refine their knowledge prior torecertification or to prepare for a return to a field of NDTwhere a 3 day refresh would be advantageous.Currently available for level 2 Eddy Current andUltrasonics.

Level 3 NDT courses are available on demand.

ATTAR offers practical-only training courses designedto refresh/build practical skills and in some cases assistin gaining the required supervised industrial experiencefor certification. In some cases, supervised industrialexperience for certification to AS3998 may be difficultto achieve in the workplace. AINDT has approvedATTAR to allocate up to 7x the duration of practicaltraining towards supervised industrial experience. Thismeans that 1 week of approved practical training canequate to 7 weeks of supervised industrial experience.

Tailored courses to meet your specific requirements.

Where external certification is not required, and conditionmonitoring is performed, the use of suitably qualified in-house personnel can provide benefits, particularly inremote regions where access to certified personnel islimited. ATTAR can provide training and procedures to suityour specific needs.
