The new Electro 4 family all feature the new tonewheel engine derived from our award-winning flagship organ Nord C2D, including vastly improved Click-modeling, a new Rotary Speaker simulation with a matching new Overdrive and re-modeled percussion.The Piano section has added support for Long Release, suitable for legato playing and the String Resonance can now be turned on at will. Handling programs has become even easier with 4 Program Banks and 4 Live Locations. Furthermore, the USB port doubles as an USB-MIDI interface.

NORD PIANO LIBRARY The Nord Electro 4 series come loaded with a selection of amazing sounds from the Nord Piano Library - our specialized library for Grand, Upright and Electrical Pianos, Clavinet and Harpsichords.

All the sounds have been recorded using our state-of-the-art sampling techniques to capture the extraordinary nuances and the unique characters of the source instruments and the library covers everything from brilliant, factory new Grand Pianos to detuned upright bar pianos with tons of charm. The Nord Sound Manager lets you easily replace the sounds in your instrument to suit your personal taste for any performance.

NORD SAMPLE LIBRARY The Nord Sample Library gives you access to our exclusively licensed Mellotron and Chamberlin sounds and a wide selection of quality sounds from leading sample producers. The Nord Sample library is expanding rapidly and all new additions are available as free downloads! Thanks to our included Nord Sample Editor software, it’s even possible to add your own samples from WAVE-files.

The control pedal support has been extended and now includes Yamaha FC7, Roland EV-7, Roland EV-5, Korg EXP2 and Korg XVP10.

EFFECTSThe Nord Electro 4 Effect section offers a wide selection of great, tweakable effects for instantly adding some dirt, glimmer or atmo-sphere to your sound.

The Amp/Speaker simulation now includes the same Vintage 122 Rotary Speaker simulation as found in our flagship organ, Nord C2D. Also, there’s a flexible Stereo Delay effect with Tap-Tempo and Ping-Pong mode.

The Nord Electro 4 SW73 and Nord Electro 4 HP features our Digital LED drawbars while the Nord Electro 4D features physical drawbars.

The Nord Piano 2 offers our very best acoustic and electric piano sounds from the Nord Piano Library as well as more than 1000 versatile sounds in the ever-growing Nord Sample Library.

Nord Piano 2 lets you layer and split sounds from both our sound libraries and we’ve added a volume pedal input for sneaking in those strings while you keep playing. All of the sounds are replaceable and it’s even possible to create custom samples using the Nord Sample Editor.

We want technology to be transparent to the musician, which is why the Nord Piano 2 has dedicated buttons and knobs for all functions relevant in a performance setting.

UNIQUE FEATURESThe Advanced String Resonance feature recreates the acoustic phenomenon of piano strings that resonate at their fundamental or harmonic frequencies when other strings are played. The String Resonance also makes a big difference when playing with the sustain pedal pressed down, where all the notes you play will have a richer sound quality to them, as all the undampened strings resonate together. The features is available for both Grand and Upright pianos.

NORD TRIPLE PEDALThe Nord Piano 2 comes with the unique Nord Triple Pedal that dynamically recreates the mechanical noises of the dampening mechanism in an acoustic piano. The pedal also features the Una-Corda and Sustenuto pedal. The Sustenuto pedal can be assigned to act as a separate sustain pedal for the Sample section for advanced layering possibilities.

PERFORMANCE & PORTABILITYThe Nord Piano 2 sports 88 fully weighted Hammer Action keys. To ensure an even response each keybed is calibrated individually at the Nord Factory. 4 selectable Dynamic Curves lets you adjust the keyboard response to your personal preference. Weighing only 18 kg, the Nord Piano 2 is one of the most light weight professional stage pianos on the market.

VOX & FARFISA The Farfisa Compact Deluxe, considered by many to be the mother of transistor organs, involves routing matrixes and complex filter combinations that offer a tailored sound with massive energy and high-end. The Vox Continental’s brute design brings you a more hollow tone, but still with a very intense character. As with the tone wheel organ, both transistor organs have their own unique, irreplaceable personalities. Combine them with any of the Nord C2D speaker simulations, add some distortion, adjust EQ and they will definitely light your fire.

PIPE ORGANThe Nord C2D pipe organ is based on a carefully selected baroque organ with a devastatingly beautiful sound and wide expressive range. Using cutting edge sampling technique, no efforts have been spared in producing a rich and varied sound palette for the demanding pipe organist.

SPEAKER SIMULATIONThe Nord C2D features 2 Rotary Speaker simulations, one based on a 145 unit and a brand new simulation of a vintage 122-unit. The Nord C2D also features great Twin and JC guitar amp models with a powerful overdrive, freely assignable to the B3, Farfisa or Vox organs. The 11-pin connector even lets you connect the Nord C2D to an external rotary cabinet.

The flexibility of having both Trigger and MIDI-inputs lets you use the Nord Drum in numerous ways and you’re free to mix Pads, Triggers and MIDI at the same time. Put an acoustic drum trigger on your acoustic bass drum, add two electronic drum pads as extra toms and let a MIDI sequencer play the last channel for syncing to a backing track.
