The purpose of the Middle School Day Committee is to identify and implement the highest quality middle level program designed to meet the academic, developmental, and social emotional needs of the District’s middle school students.

Participate in professional development for middle level educators (AMLE)
Research exemplary programs (surveys, interviews, and site visits)
Conduct an internal audit of NASD’s current practices
Develop a comprehensive middle level program that best meets the academic, development, and social emotional needs of the District’s middle level students
