How do you celebrate Valentine's Day if you are in BCA with York Haven teachers Mrs. Nace, Mrs. Nestor, Mrs.

Leonard, or Mrs. Stein? You may have seen kindergarten through 3rd graders creating virtual Valentine slides

for their classmates, having a Valentine's Day Virtual Scavenger Hunt, participating in a Valentine's Day Candy

Heart experiment, designing a card by learning to draw Valentine characters, playing Valentine BINGO, read-

ing Hedgehugs and making a hedgehog craft, learning about Valentine's Day all around the world, and/or explor-

ing an interactive February classroom with Valentine read alouds. Having fun in cyber school? No problem!

ject, students in Mrs. Heber-

lig's 2nd grade class read

about, researched, and wrote

facts about penguins.

Rainbow trout have returned to SBI! 257 eggs arrived safely this week. Mrs.

Long’s class will maintain a cold water aquarium and watch them grow, then re-

lease them into an approved cold water stream before the end of the school year.

Last year 127 were released. Will they beat that number this year? Eggs are

provided through the PFBC’s Trout in the Classroom program.

This week three of our student members of the NHS PBIS Team participated with LIU13 PAPBS Coaches Network to support coaches from across their 22 school districts in Lan-

caster and Lebanon Counties. Ms. Bell, Dr. Burns, and Mr. Dittrich accompanied our

students to the virtual forum.

The NHS PBIS team members discussed the roles and functions, activities and initia-tives, and recruitment and sustainability procedures for student participation through our PBIS Homeroom. We are Bobcat Proud of you!
