2.3 Sign convention

Sign convention adopted in this report is the same as shown in the reference document NT2-L1-C-

UMA/UMB.05-610099, e.g. for vertical load (Py) : Negative sign for compression, Positive sign for

tension.

2.4 Additional soil investigations

Additional soil investigations will be done following ground improvements, refer to report NT2-L4-C-21-

060001 (Construction method statement of geotechnical investigation after soil improvement work) and

drawing NT2-L4-C-UZA.55-003009 (Borehole location plan).
