HIGHLIGHTS

1. NTR Model School students - Alumni meet - 2018 was held @ NTR Trust, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad NTR Trust- Managing Trustee - Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari garu along with NTR Educational Institutions COO- Mr. Y.Mohan Rao garu, Director - Education Mr. N.S.Prasad garu, and Principals - Mr. Srinivas Rao, Mr. Joji Reddy and Mr. Madhusudhan Rao welcomed the gathered Alumni and all the invitees.

2. NTR Trust - Managing Trustee - Smt. Nara Bhuvaneshwari garu along with NTR Trust - CEO - Mr. Vishnu Vardhan & NTR Trust - COO- Education - Mr. Y. Mohan Rao held a Press Meet at NTR Trust, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad over providing scholarships for girl Students to study intermediate at NTR Junior College for Girls.

3. NTR Trust-Vizag Blood Bank received "Best Blood Bank award 2017-18" in Visakhapatnam District from Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society, District AIDS Prevention & Control Unit (DAPCU), Vishakapatnam for their contribution in the field of Social Service.

4. NTR Trust Team, Hyderabad participated in the RED RIBBON RUN on the occasion of World Aids Day to assist every person living with HIV to have access to quality care and is treated with dignity.

HEALTH

Key Activities:

1. A free health check-up camp at Kodikonda, Hindupur constituency, Ananthapuram District was organized by NTR Trust in collaboration with Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital & Local Doctors. 852 residents came for the health check-up.

2. A blood donation camp was organized by NTR trust in association with Steel Plant AITUC Union, Visakhapatnam. 280 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood.

3. A free health check-up camp at Godavarru, Penamaluru constituency, Krishna District was organized by NTR Trust in collaboration with Stock Holding Corporation,Capital Hospital & Local Doctors. 220 residents came for the health check-up.

4. A blood donation camp was organized by NTR trust in association with INS Vishwakarma, Visakhapatnam. 192 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood.

5. A free health check-up camp at Lepakshi, Hindupur constituency, Ananthapuram District was organized by NTR

Trust in collaboration with Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital & Local Doctors. 1760 residents came for the health check-up.

6. A blood donation camp was organized by NTR trust in association with CMR Central, Visakhapatnam. 182 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood.

7. NTR Trust in collaboration with Indo British Hospital organized Free Medical Camp at Shankarlinga Gudipadu, Prakasam district. 351 residents came for the health check-up.

8. NTR Trust in collaboration with the TDP Leader Peela Srinivasa Rao of Pendurthi, Visakhapatnam organized a Voluntary Blood Donation camp on the occasion of his Birthday. 50 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood.

9. NTR Trust Blood Bank, Hyderabad organized 3rd "Hospital Transfusion Committee"(HTC) meeting on 17th Nov 2018. The aim of this HTC is to contribute to the development of clinical governance,modify and improve blood transfusion protocols & clinical practice based on new guidance and evidence. 17 Doctors & Clinicians from various Hospitals in Hyderabad were a part of this HTC.

10. A free health check-up camp at Pilleru, Chittoor district was organized by NTR Trust in collaboration with

Heritage Foods Ltd & Sri Sai Sudha Multispecialty Hospital, Tirupati. 327 residents came for the health check-up.

11. During Nov and Dec 2018, NTR Trust organized free Medical Camps across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, wherein people were given free health checkup. These Healthcare camps aim at promoting health-seeking behaviour in the long term and these camps majorly work on building awareness regarding common ailments, nutrition, hygiene and sanitation. These camps provide comprehensive health services free of cost.

12. During Nov and Dec 2018, NTR Trust Blood Banks have organized numerous Volunteer Blood Donation Camps across the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

EDUCATION

Key Activities:

1. NTR Model School students celebrated Children’s Day. As a part of celebrations, students took part in various sports & cultural activities like Volleyball,Musical Chair,Dance and Vocal Music and paid tributes to Cha Cha Nehru.

2. NTR Model School students - Alumni meet - 2018 was held @ NTR Trust, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad NTR Trust- Managing Trustee - Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari garu along with NTR Educational Institutions COO- Mr. Y.Mohan Rao garu, Director - Education Mr. N.S.Prasad garu, and Principals - Mr. Srinivas Rao, Mr. Joji Reddy and Mr. Madhusudhan Rao welcomed the gathered Alumni and all the invitees. While addressing the gathering Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari garu mentioned that they should always think in mind of returning something back to the society, serve humanity & to always let the light shine.

3. NTR Trust - Managing Trustee - Smt. Nara Bhuvaneshwari garu along with NTR Trust - CEO - Mr. Vishnu Vardhan & NTR Trust - COO- Education - Mr. Y. Mohan Rao held a Press Meet at NTR Trust, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad over providing scholarships for girl Students to study intermediate at NTR Junior College for Girls. While addressing the press Smt.Nara Bhuvaneshwari garu mentioned that "Through NTR Girl Education Scholarship Test (NTR-GEST) we aim to support and encourage Intermediate education of 25 Girls students who are meritorious but from economically poor background. NTR-GEST gives scholarships up to Rs. 5,000/- per month for a period of 2 years."

4. NTR Model School students, Gandipet, Hyderabad had an excellent opportunity to visit IICT (Indian Institute of Chemical Technology). They witnessed the outcome of research in the area of Chemical Science. The young students were also guided about a career in basic Chemical research. Students had an opportunity to interact with Scientists. Students got clarification on science-related queries.

5. The Teachers and staff of NTR High School, Challapalli celebrated Vana Mahostavam. It is a cultural festival done during the Karthika masam, in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. This festival connects Humans with Forests (nature). During Vana Mahotsavam, people journey to a nearby forest and cook meal under the trees and perform pooja & consume the food as prasad.

6. NTR High School, Challapalli celebrated "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" in the School premises. The School Campus was cleaned by students. They cleaned the polythene bags, collected dirty materials and dispersed them into the dumping yard. The students also watered the plants. Various cleaning and hygienic aspects were discussed in the assembly.

7. NTR High School, Warangal conducted a "Drawing Competition" for its students. The objective of this competition is to uncover and nurture the natural talents of the students. It allows complete self-expression & supports their dreams and innovative ideas.

8. NTR High School, Challapalli conducted a "Spell Bee" (Telugu) competition for its students. The objective of this "Spell Bee " competition is to enhance the spelling and literary skills of children by encouraging them to explore the Telugu language, expand their vocabulary, and improve their communication and comprehension skills.

9. NTR High School students of Warangal- celebrated Sports Day. As a part of the celebrations, students took part in various indoor & outdoor sports activities like Kabaddi, Shuttle, VolleyBall, Frog Jump, Carroms & Chess ( Girls & Boys) It was a fun-filled day for the students. NTR Trust, COO- Education Mr. Y. Mohan Rao & NTR Trust - Education - Director - Mr. N.S.Prasad distributed prizes to the winners.

Empowerment & Livelihoods

Key Activities:

1. NTR Trust SDC, Vinukonda conducted a two days Lead India 20-20 Personality Development training program for Rural Women. Personal development is a process of fully discovering one’s potentials, abilities, role, and place in the wider society and taking the responsibility to fulfill one’s goals in a way that the individual does not only stand out but also makes an impact on the individual Development which in turn leads to National Development.
