Merry Christmas To Our Beloved Church Family, What an exciting time to be a member of Lilburn First Baptist Church! As we enter into the month of December, we’ve begun a new tradition at LFBC entitled, “Christmas at Lilburn.” We are hoping and praying for a community-wide impact in celebrating Jesus’ birth. Together as a church we are eager to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to others throughout the entire month of December. So whether we are participating at Lilburn’s Christmas parade, partnering with local schools in getting gifts to needy children, or inviting our family and friends to our services, we long to celebrate King Jesus. As we move into a season when people are perhaps more open to the gospel, we encourage you to share the story of our Savior’s birth. We love and serve a King who came down as one of us, to rescue and redeem us. There is no greater gift ever given! I once heard that the greatest gift anyone could ever give is his or her closeness with Jesus. The abundance of our joy and love of Jesus is the perfect gift to give others, not just during Christmas, but everyday. Norma, the girls and I are tremendously thankful to be celebrating our savior’s birth with you. We Need Everyone!
On Saturday, December 9th, from 10:00am-2:00pm, we will minister to the Lilburn community by hosting a Parent’s Day Out event called The Great Escape.
This event is designed to give parents a window of time to do Christmas shopping, run errands, or just have some “down time” while we love on and care for their children age 3-Grade 6.
We need as many volunteers as possible on that Saturday to help with crafts, food, activities, and Bible stories. Mark your calendar and make plans now to be Part of The Great Escape!
