If you prefer, you can have agolf lesson with a club professional. There are three wonderful 18-hole golf courses in Stratford-upon-Avon, the nearest just 300metres from the College.

Writing SkillsIf you have a good level of general English and would like toimprove your writing skills for everyday use or academicpurposes, this is the course for you. You will focus on different writing styles (both formal andinformal), syntax, spelling and punctuation. You will learn howto plan and write different kinds of text, including CV’s, letters ofapplication and academic assignments. You can combine yourpart-time Writing Skills course (6 hours per week), with aGeneral English course (15 hours per week).

Oxford is a wonderful place to study. It is home to the oldest
English speaking university in the world. There is a fascinating
mix of the ancient and modern. There is always something to
do in and around Oxford, such as visiting an Oxford University
college, punting on the river, or dining out in one of Oxford's
quality restaurants. The College is perfectly located right in

College Social lifeWe have a fun-packed social programme to help you meet new
friends from all over the world. Taking part in our social
programme is also a great way to see different parts of the UK,
explore British culture and improve your English.
The weekly social programme includes free as well as paid for
activities and includes a wide variety of events such as DVD film
evenings, exciting nights out, sports events and regular excursions
to places of interest around Britain. A member of staff normally
accompanies students on our social activities. So whatever your

College. Most of the buses stop very close to the College, in the
High Street. In Stratford-upon-Avon, most of our Homestay hosts
live within easy walking distance of the College in a delightful
residential area, so it isn’t necessary to use public transport to get
to school and back.
Summer Residences In the summer months you can choose to stay in a university or
college residence. You can enjoy living in a secure, modern
student residence, normally with the option of private
shower/bath facilities. The Summer Residences are a great way to
meet fellow-students.
Your Home life At Oxford House College we have a range of accommodation
options to match your needs in London, Oxford and Stratford-
upon-Avon. These include Homestay (living with a Host Family),
and hotel. We have an Accommodation Officer in each of our
schools who will arrange your accommodation according to your
preferences. They can also arrange taxi transfers to take you
directly to your accommodation from Heathrow, Gatwick, London
City, Luton, Stansted, Birmingham and other airports.
Homestay – your home from homeChoose to stay in Homestay accommodation (which can be in the
home of a family with young children, with couples or with a
single person) and our Accommodation Officer will carefully select
a Homestay host to match your requirements.
Living with one of our Homestay providers will help you settle in
to studying in the UK quickly. Your Homestay hosts will make you
feel at home, and you will be able to practise your English in
friendly, relaxed surroundings.
You will have your own room, and you can choose between
various meals options: self-catering, bed and breakfast, or half
board (breakfast and dinner).
In London, we can arrange Homestay for you in London Zones
2 - 5. Our students generally get to the College by bus or Tube. In
Oxford, our Homestay providers live a short bus journey from the
