If it’s out there, we’ll help you find it, nurture it and look after it.

AGR Petroleum Services was formed in 2005 and is a division of the AGR Group, which has been in existence for more than 20 years and has offices in four continents. This global reach has enabled AGR Petroleum Services to effectively service clients where they need it, and this has been responsible for the company’s dynamic growth.

AGR Petroleum Services is a combination of “best in class” companies in well construction, G&G and reservoir engineering, and field management expertise, covering the entire upstream field life cycle. As a result of the strategic acquisitions of PEAK, F.J. Brown & Associates, DPT and TRACS, AGR Petroleum Services is now the largest independent provider of well management consultancy services, reservoir management and risk mitigation in the world.

The composition of “best in class” companies, together with the close working relationships throughout the group, allows the company to seamlessly manage the entire upstream field life cycle, to undertake multiple projects for multiple clients all over the world, and to provide a modular or fully-integrated service in response to client needs.

Clients benefit from this flexible approach and from the fact that AGR Petroleum Services is not affiliated to any other company or hardware vendor. This leads to decisions based on HSE&Q, technical merit and cost efficiencies. The company’s complementary services, expertise and business model mean operators are able to obtain safe and cost-effective solutions for the planning and execution of exploration, appraisal and production well construction and the management of fields in production .

The end result leads to faster time to first oil, budget savings and maximum value generation between first and final oil.

Deep water. Harsh environments. Now you’re talking our language.

WELL MANAGEMENTAGR Petroleum Services is the world’s largest independent well management group. The well management team comprises highly-qualified personnel across the globe delivering services to enable clients to achieve increased HSE&Q and operational performance, enhanced operability and cost savings.

The company includes many offshore pioneers, and this knowledge and experience led to AGR Petroleum Services being one of the first companies to create and manage multi-well multi-client campaigns.

Hundreds of wells have been drilled for clients throughout the world, and AGR has simultaneously operated as many as seven rig-strings worldwide. The company’s expertise includes onshore and offshore, deepwater, HPHT, extended reach, horizontal wells, underbalanced drilling, remote locations, and many environmentally-sensitive areas.

AGR Petroleum Services has consistently demonstrated its ability to overcome technical obstacles and solve environmental challenges through innovation. This is one of the reasons the company is the preferred service provider for the upstream petroleum industry.

With its vast experience of working in some of the most challenging environments across the globe, the company, with all its resources and flexible approach, is ideally placed to work with National Oil Companies (NOCs) and major independents as well as with smaller independent oil companies.

WELL MANAGEMENT

AGR Petroleum Services Well Management has the resources and experience to plan and manage drilling operations similar to the drilling department of an oil company. Clients benefit from the company’s network, supply chain and its excellent understanding of the worldwide mobile drilling rig market.

This expertise allows clients to meet challenging spud-date deadlines and licence commitments, to facilitate rig assignments, to drill prospects in different locations with a variety of rigs with different commercial arrangements, to secure rig capacity in extremely tight market conditions, to execute well management projects worldwide, and to enjoy more flexibility in the timing of operations either within multi-client campaigns or as stand-alone projects.

Rig Campaigns In 2007 and 2008, AGR Petroleum Services took the lead in creating and managing multi-well multi-client programmes. During this period only StatoilHydro and Shell were responsible for more well construction project management in Northern Europe, by well-count, than AGR Petroleum Services.

AGR’s expertise in developing innovative contracting solutions makes multi-well multi-client campaigns possible, providing clients with the necessary infrastructure to drill “when and where they want”, supported by AGR Petroleum Services’ unwavering commitment to excellence in HSE&Q performance.

Exceptional Benefits for OperatorsIn addition to innovative contract solutions for multi-well multi-client campaigns, the company has a superior supply-chain infrastructure which provides flexibility in slot scheduling/re-scheduling and delivers cost savings to the client.

The company’s resourceful approach to well design can reduce well cost below original budget by over 20%. A recent example was where the company deployed a slim-hole well design, drilling four wells in the North Sea for the budgeted price of three wells for a Canadian-based independent exploration company. Another example includes overcoming the technical challenge presented by an unconsolidated reservoir to deliver a well in two months against the originally budgeted time of three months.

All’s Well that Starts WellAGR Petroleum Services is the industry leader in the development and application of performance management systems for well construction. P1™ has revolutionised the well delivery process and is at the forefront of understanding the probabilistic approach applied to well construction performance management.

This industry-leading probabilistic software provides a systematic approach to many of the key elements of successful well construction. Not only is it at the heart of the company’s well delivery process but it is also used by four out of the top six leading oil companies.

Technical/Deep Water ExpertsAGR Petroleum Services has a proven international track record of expertise in conventional, High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) and deepwater drilling in harsh and remote locations throughout the world.

AGR F.J. BROWN – Deepwater and HPHT ExpertsWith its main office in Houston, AGR F.J. Brown has a formidable reputation as a world leader in well-site supervision, office support and project engineering in almost every deepwater area in the world.

The company has extensive domestic and international drilling experience in all types of deepwater drilling units. AGR F.J. Brown has successfully completed deepwater drilling and subsea completion projects for more than 23 operators in 13 countries –more than any drilling and completion consulting firm in the world.

AGR F.J. Brown complements its deepwater drilling expertise with its staff of subsea completion engineers who have managed some of the most demanding subsea installations in water depths greater than 6,000 feet.

HPHTThere is no other drilling well management company with greater hands-on knowledge about tapping into HPHT reservoirs.

AGR F.J. Brown’s engineers and well-site supervisors have an in-depth understanding of how to combine state-of-the-art technology with their HPHT experience to tackle the issues required to deliver a successful project.

AGR F.J. Brown has drilled more than 30 wells with a total depth of more than 18,000 feet below the mud-line, all with bottom hole pressures exceeding 18.4 ppg mud weights.

Accomplishments include:• Drilled the deepest well below the mudline

in the Gulf of Mexico to a total depth of 32,997 feet or six and a quarter miles

• Set a world record for the highest hydrostatic pressure ever recorded – over 33,000 psi

• Set a world record for the longest expandable liner to a pre-expanded length of 6,935 feet – all below 20,000 feet

• Set a world record with over 750 continuous operating hours on a 4¾” turbine and a 6” PDC bit – all below 31,900 feet.

“At the heart of our well construction process is an unrelenting commitment to thorough planning and a focus on performance.”

Innovation. We thrive on seemingly insurmountable challenges and we excel at them.

RESERVOIR MANAGEMENTThe multi-disciplinary composition of the Reservoir Management team enables AGR Petroleum Services to provide advice to the upstream oil and gas industry throughout all phases of a field’s life. This includes exploration, reservoir evaluation studies, well and completion design, field development, EOR, asset valuation, reserves and auditing certification.

Reservoir Management solves problems and makes investment recommendations for a wide range of clients from its offices on four continents. Clients include super-majors, NOCs, small independents, service companies and investors in the upstream business.

The Reservoir Management group comprises reservoir professionals who have an average of 16 years of international experience in reservoir description and well planning, much of which has been gained either in E&P majors, independent oil companies or within the company.

Naturally, reservoir studies represent the core of Reservoir Management’s service. In 2008, AGR Petroleum Services completed over 200 reservoir studies including new developments and brownfield projects, ranging from five million barrels to more than a billion barrels, as well as gas and gas-condensate fields.

Reservoir Management holds vital knowledge about all major hydrocarbon provinces.

Page 6: AGR Capabilities Brocure

RESERVOIR MANAGEMENT

Reservoir and Field ManagementThe Reservoir Management team’s core strength is its ability to combine sub-surface knowledge with advanced well technology and risk management experience, providing clients with innovative and cost-effective integrated solutions.

AGR Petroleum Services’ teams consist of geophysicists, geologists, petrophysicists, and reservoir, petroleum and production engineers supported by well technology and commercial analysis experts who bring greater breadth and depth to projects and deliver more cost-effective decisions.

AGR Petroleum Services also has the capability to deliver training courses in geosciences, petroleum engineering, economics and risk analysis.

Reservoir Management is known for its unique perspectives and problem-solving capabilities. For example, leaders of the AGR Reservoir Management team were responsible for creating the North Sea Digital Atlas.

“Our approach to reservoir modelling generates better business decisions.”

Operations ProjectsOperational support covers all aspects of operational activities for independent oil companies. This encompasses production support both on-site and off-site, well planning and workovers, field development, the identification of incremental oil recovery opportunities, and support in long-term strategic management decisions for clients. Multi-client StudiesThe synergy of team members and the application of their vast exploration experience provide unique interpretations and guidance to independent oil companies seeking to evaluate potential oil provinces before applying for licences.

The company’s expertise has been used to create an extensive petrophysical database of more than 100 exploration wells in the Norwegian Sea to allow clients to better focus their exploration activity since many oil exploration companies lack the in-house resources and time to analyse such data.

Exclusive StudiesExclusive studies include the preparation of concession round applications, regional field studies, full field simulation studies, seismic interpretations, 3D reservoir modelling, fracture modelling using FRACA and well test evaluations. The company’s innovative approach has proved on many occasions that previously non-commercial reservoirs can be made viable.

Independent EvaluationsThe Reservoir Management team provides independent evaluations for complete companies, oil and gas assets and portfolios, which are used to support applications for funding or stock exchange listings. The company is recognised by the exchanges, brokers and investors as providing reliable evaluations.

Asset Valuations and Reserves Audit AGR Petroleum Services performs reserves audits and certification to standards which are accepted by the leading stock exchanges, the Security Exchange Commission and commercial and institutional banks. In addition, the company reviews and develops reserves reporting guidelines for oil companies and national regulatory bodies, and reports under all accepted industry standards.

Within the framework of its reserves auditing capabilities, AGR Petroleum Services delivers:

• Reserves certificates: certifies reserves estimates for various purposes

• Competent Person’s Reports: prepares compliant reserves disclosures for stock exchange listings

• Dispute Resolution: acts as expert witnesses or in the preparation of submission packages for expert determination and arbitration

“Added value through integrated teams, efficient technical solutions and new business models”.

Tove MagnussenVice PresidentHSE&Q

ExpertiseField Management has used its expertise in many areas. It has:

• Applied its North Sea expertise to provide new solutions for a NOC developing South American fields. Using existing data, AGR Petroleum Services built a new development scenario to prove increased reserves potential by including neighbouring fields, and illustrated the viability of using subsea tiebacks as a cost-efficient solution. The result is that the NOC has completely changed the development strategy of the assets.

• Deployed Field Management personnel to transfer knowledge to West African NOCs and train the second-highest producing West African NOC to develop its own fields.

• Developed the production technology and subsurface elements of a field development plan for a remote offshore gas field in the Bay of Bengal. This involved determining the potential of several new wells based on reprocessed seismic and production history, working up potential well locations and determining the optimum well number and design. The result was the selection of three smart wells for the complex multi-zone and potentially water-producing reservoirs. AGR Petroleum Services performed all the completion engineering and supervised the successful installation and commissioning of the smart wells in a compressed time frame.
