Moisture penetration in wet areas

result in mold, mildew growth and

costly renovations. Contrary to

popular belief, the tile covering

itself is not waterproof. Moisture

will infiltrate the mortar bed and

solid backing on the walls. Creat-

ing a fully waterproof and vapor

tight enclosure provides moisture

management that does not allow

moisture to penetrate into the

mortar bed or solid backing, al-

lowing the enclosure to dry com-

pletely between uses. Compared

to traditional waterproofing sys-

tems we can typically have your

enclosure waterproofed in a mat-

ter of hours, ready for tile the

next day.
