1 I live in Cottenham which is a historical town near the river in the East of England and it is very picturesque because there are pretty fields, a beautiful river and charming little villages in the countryside.
2 In my village there isn’t a great deal to do for young people, which is a shame. However, we can go to Cambridge, which very close.
3 In Cambridge, there are plenty of things to see and do for tourists and for the locals.
4 There are a lot of green spaces where you can go for a walk when the weather is nice. The town is also known in the whole world for its famous university and its magnificent colleges.
5 Before, there was no shopping centre but now Cambridge is the ideal place for those who like shopping or window-shopping.
6 On the other hand, there is too much traffic and too many tourists in the summer and my mum always says that there is not enough public transport
7 If I was the mayor, I would ban cars in town and bikes would be compulsory.
8 A new ice rink is soon going to open not far from my house. I am going to go there with my sister. I can’t wait!
