Congregational Meeting
There will be a congregational meeting today in place of Bible
classes. After children are picked up from Kids Kingdom and
nurseries please come back to the auditorium to take part in
the meeting.
MARRIED COUPLES!!! Make the choice & Make the commitment!
Love & War is a video based study that has John and Stasi Eldredge
(along with other couples) showing you and your spouse how to take
marriage to new levels through developing deeper intimacy and step-
ping into the great adventure God has waiting for you ... together! They
do this with refreshing openness as they candidly discuss their own mar-
riages and the insights they've gained from the challenges they've faced.
Each couple shares independently about what they're learning from
each other, giving a much needed balance between the male and female
perspectives -- a unique feature of this video study.
LET’S MAKE IT REAL & PERSONAL
There are 52 Saturdays in 2014 and we want to encourage you to dedi-
cate at least 2 of them to investing in your marriage through this study
together. Both of these sessions will consist of roughly 2 hours of video
and discussion along with the duration of your evening given to a “date
night” that you as a couple take advantage of as you see fit. Cost for this
opportunity is only $10.00 per couple (for two workbooks) and the
deadline for sign-up on bulletin board is January 29.
Any questions, please contact Matthew Betz.

Welcome Guests
Your choice to join us in worship to God is a blessing to us. You are our honored
guests and It is our privilege to welcome you this morning. If you have not previ-
ously worshipped with the Northwest Tampa Church of Christ, we would like to fa-
miliarize you with our service. Our style of worship is simple, patterned after the
examples and teachings of the earliest Christians in the New Testament.
If you have children, we have exceptional care for them during the worship hour so
that you can focus on your spiritual development.
K-4th Grade “Kids Kingdom” located in Fellowship 2
3-5 Years Old “Children’s Worship” located in Room 9
2 Years Old Nursery located in Room 7
Babies-2 Years Old Nursery located in Room 4
Singing: You will notice our worship in song is without instrumental accompani-
ment. We believe that a cappella congregational singing both enhances our per-
sonal involvement in worship, and conforms to the New Testament example.
Lord’s Supper: Following the example of the early church, we celebrate the Lord’s
Supper every Sunday (Acts 20:7). Jesus established the practice of sharing the bread
and cup so Christians might remember the sacrifice of his body and blood to make a
new covenant with God possible for us.
Offering: This is the opportunity for our members to support the ongoing work of
this church.
Preaching: The message, is the time when the “good news” is proclaimed and ap-
plied to our lives. We hope you will find it encouraging and Bible-based.
Invitation: At the close of most sermons, an “invitation” is extended. This provides
an opportunity for a public response. These responses may be to state one’s desire
to be baptized, bring a prayer concern before the church family, recommit one’s life
to the Lord, or be introduced as new members.
If you haven’t already signed up for Young at Heart, contact
John and Faye Marincin to find out what we’re all about. If
you’re over 50 years young, you can sign up—we have a
sign up sheet on the bulletin board across from the office.
Pocket Directories
Be sure and take the new green pocket directories; they are on both
sides of the sound booth. Limit one per adult.
