• Have you ever wondered about what it would be like to live a life of crime?

• Or how would you feel if you had to constantly watch your back for anything dangerous or life threatening?

• In my book, On The Run, a 15 year old boy named Luke Reid has been living this life longer than he can even remember.

• Luke often has to resort to stealing to survive. Not only does he have to steal, but he is good at it too. And he is definitely not the only one thinks that.

• He has learned all that he knows from the best thief he knows, his father.

• Luke’s main rule of life is very simple; if he sees anything he wants or anything that is valuable, he will take it.

• Whether it be something as simple as a quick meal, or something as big an expensive as a car.

• Recently in the story, Luke has just stolen a new pair of top-of-the-line running shoes because they caught his eye and he needed something better to use during his escapes.

• Soon enough, he found out that his shoes weren’t helping him as much as he thought they would, so he had to find, a car break into it, and leave fast enough to get away from the cops.

• Just as he was picking the lock to a 4x4 with his jigsaw blade, which was about to be his get away car, he was crudely pushed out of the way by two other thieves, Lee Young and Mike Russell.

• They were a couple of veteran thieves whose names he had heard mentioned a few times. He was almost honored to be being robbed by them.

• As they were getting away in his get away car, he noticed a man running after the car. Of course he assumed it was the cars owner. He also noticed that the 4x4 was headed straight for the owner’s daughter whom he assumed was blind because she wasn’t running out of the way. Luke quickly acted by running after to try and save her. He quickly dives to try and save her aaaaannnd… does he save her?
