Subject Matter Expert (SME) key user with real live production data, and the
SME has already asked for 'small' enhancements … It is the beginning of
the wonderful world of Application Development at CFISD ISA – .NET
Object technology with C-sharp, N-tier Architecture, Modern& High
Performance Telerik UI Controls for building Win Form/Web Form/Mobile
apps
A day in the life of an ISA’er at Cy-Fair ISD• It is the day-to-day Support tasks that slow us down from advancing and
implementing best-practices architectures and technologies -
Outdated/Poorly written documents/procedures, Poorly written
programs/processes, Poorly Test/QA procedures, Poorly inter/intra
departmental communications that cause processes/data errors that require
our talented resources just to fix the errors in order to keep our day-to-day
business processes going

Had a great meeting with Kathryn Sanders, Tamera Huffman, Retina Eniquez, and Stefanie Bates on our Title 1
/ AESOP project. The objective is to increase the accuracy of paying using Title 1 grant money for campus staff
development and to save time for Tamera, Retina and Pattie Sanford. The project will utilize AESOP to charge
the correct budget code so Journal adjustment will no longer be a manual process for Retina and Pattie.

John Crumbley
As I review the CETL material,
I find myself using the skills in
my daily conversations. This
week, I reflect on the cross
functional collaboration I
facilitated. I met with many
departments to discuss
various projects. Remaining
goal centered, and focused on
the project, we were able to
collaborate to a successful
completion. I am grateful for
the new skills and look for to a
greater implementation.
– John Crumbley
This week I reflected again
on how my Team makes
such an impact to Cy-Fair
with the programs they write
and with the process
improvements that save time
(which our customers love)
and money.
We are
Transforming Education
