OFFLINE EXAMINATION
ABSTRACT
Offline examinations are an important method of evaluating the success
potential of students. This research effort the individuals under consideration were students who
would be enrolling in computer courses or Technologies Registrations. A prototype of a web-based
placement examination system is described from the standpoint of the research effort, end user, and
software development.
An on-line educational system including exam processing and electronic journal
features. An instructor builds a course based uestions which on-line contain in identification of
assignments. !hich are compiled into an on-line exam syllabus"
#sers enrolled in the platform may access the electronic details they provided and
perform various functions with the on-line educational system in order to participate in the on-line
examinations. #sers can receive an on-line exam, having multimedia content, for the course, and they
can electronically provide answers for the exam. And after $ompletion of their duration of exam they
are provided the grade or mar%s secured in their examinations.

INTRODUCTION:
on-line examinations contents providersto focus on creating effective assessment questions and focusing onexams feedback delivery to students. In the paper we present
techniques that are pertinent to the elements of assessment process:answers submission, computeried grading, and feedback aftersubmission.
!s the modern organiations are automated
and computers are working as per the instructions, it becomesessential for the coordination of human beings, commodity andcomputers in a modern organiation.
"he administrators ,instructor,#tudents who areattending for offline examination can communicate with the systemthrough this pro$ects, thus facilitating effective implementation andmonitoring of various activities of %ffline &xaminations like conducting&xams as per scheduled basis and delivering result to that particularuse or student.!nd the details of students who attempted %ffline&xamination are maintained at administrator.

#78 stands for #nified 7odeling 8anguage. #78 is a language for specifying, visuali:ing and
documenting the system. This is the step while developing any product after analysis. The
goal from this is to produce a model of the entities involved in the project which later need to
be built. The representation of the entities that are to be used in the product being developed
need to be designed.
There are various %inds of methods in software design2
They are as follows2

USECASE DIAGRAMS
#se case diagrams model behavior within a system and helps the developers
understand of what the user reuire. The stic% man represents what;s called an actor.
#se case diagram can be useful for getting an overall view of the system and
clarifying who can do and more importantly what they can;t do.
#se case diagram consists of use cases and actors and shows the interaction
between the use case and actors.
The purpose is to show the interactions between the use case and actor.
To represent the system reuirements from user;s perspective.
An actor could be the end-user of the system or an external system.

USECASE DIAGRAMA #se case is a description of set of seuence of actions. 0raphically it is rendered as
an ellipse with solid line including only its name. #se case diagram is a behavioral diagram
that shows a set of use cases and actors and their relationship. t is an association between
the use cases and actors. An actor represents a real-world object. alse ?uestion Answering

A seuence diagram is an introduction that empathi:es the time ordering of
messages. 0raphically a seuence diagram is a table that shows objects arranged along the
-axis and messages ordered in increasing time along the B-axis
COLLABORATION DIAGRAM
A collaboration diagram is an introduction diagram that emphasi:es the structural
organi:ation of the objects that send and receive messages. 0raphically a collaboration
diagram is a collection of vertices and arcs.

CLASS DIAGRAM
$lass is nothing but a structure that contains both variables and methods. The $lass
+iagram shows a set of classes, interfaces, and collaborations and their relating ships. There
is most common diagram in modeling the object oriented systems and are used to give the
static view of a system. t shows the dependency between the classes that can be used inour system.
The interactions between the modules or classes of our projects are shown below. 1ach
bloc% contains $lass /ame, ariables and 7ethods.

There are different ways to organi:e data in a database but relational databases
are one of the most effective. Relational database systems are an application of
mathematical set theory to the problem of effectively organi:ing data. n a relational
database, data is collected into tables Ccalled relations in relational theoryD.
!hen organi:ing data into tables, you can usually find many different ways to
define tables. Relational database theory defines a process, normali:ation, which ensures
that the set of tables you define will organi:e your data effectively.

support activities performed with the data. The data stored in a database is usually related
to a particular subject or process, such as inventory information for a manufacturing
warehouse.
?8 erver can support many databases, and each database can store either interrelated
data or data unrelated to that in the other databases. >or example, a server can have one
database that stores personnel data and another that stores product-related data.
Alternatively, one database can store current customer order data, and another related
database can store historical customer orders that are used for yearly reporting. @efore
you create a database, it is
important to understand the parts of a database and how to design these parts to ensure
that the database performs well after it is implemented.

$I is intended to be a simple, modern, general-purpose, object-oriented programminglanguage.Anders Fejlsberg, the designer of +elphi, leads the team which is developing $I. thas an object-oriented syntaxbased on $ZZand is heavily influenced by other programminglanguages such as +elphiand Java. t was initially named $ool, which stood for H$ li%e ObjectOriented 8anguageH.
