    Be a REAL GIVER!

    By: CHAZAQ

It often happens that when a Rabbi or community leader collects money for an institution, some of our donations. In fact, while the collector is speaking and describing the institution, there is usually

himself all they ever ask for is money I am not giving! However, once the collector is done talkin

charity is most certainly beneficial and worthy, nevertheless, we learn from the beginning of this we

type of giving we must all strive for is one that is from the heart.

Many of us are approached by Tzedaka collectors on a daily basis. The Rambam writes that if one

person in an unrespectable fashion then even if he gives a large sum of money he loses out on his

therefore discipline ourselves to give with a good heart and not with a look on our face which signato ever see the collector again.

Besides giving money, there is another form of giving which is very effective. For instance, when

due to financial, health or any other issues, G-d forbid, we may actually lift up his or hers spirits by

On February 18, Sergent Tuvia Weissman, was grocery shopping when a Palestinian brutallystabbed him to death. This is only one of therecent attacks by Palestinians on Israeli civilians.

Over the past year, tension has beenincreasing in Israel, as Palestinians constantlyattempt to murder Israeli soldiers and civilians. The IDF has been working round the clock asthese erratic acts of terror continue to take

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbaspublicly condemns these attacks before theUnited Nations and claims he wants peace. However, when he addresses his people, he praisesthem, issuing greetings of honour and esteemand encourages others to follow in the footstepsof these "martyrs." By: Netanel Yom Tov

Zika Virus- a spreading virus that can be transmitted to humans via mosquitoes

percent of those infected by it get sick. Symptoms include a slight fever, rash and pi

About 60 percent of U.S. residents live in areas threatened by Zika virus. For
