2. Microwavethebowlforoneminute.Onceyoupullitout,stirthemeltandpouruntilanyun-meltedpiecesarefullymelted.Ifthesoapbaseremainssolid,microwaveitinadditionaltensecondincrementsuntileverythinghasmelted.
3. Unlessyouwanttoaddfragranceorcolor(we’llgettothatinasecond!),thenextstepistopourthemeltedsoapbaseintoyoursoapmolduntilit’sfull.
4. Usingrubbingalcoholinaspraybottle,spritzthetopofyourmeltedsoapinthemold.Meltedsoaphasatendencytobubblealittle,andtherubbing

5. Letyoursoapmoldsituntilithascompletelycooledandsolidifiedbeforeyoutryandremoveitfromthemold.Usuallythatwilltakeaboutfourtosixhours,dependingonyourmold.

Whenaddingfragranceoil,nomatterwhatkind,waittoaddituntilthesoapbaseiscompletelymelted.Useaquarterofanounceoffragranceoilperpoundofsoapbase.Youcanuselessthanthatforasubtlescent,ormoreifyouwantastrongersmellingbarofsoap.
Forcolor,thebestnaturaloptionismicapowder.Thereareothernaturalmineralsthatyoucanuseforcolor,butmicaisgoingtobeeasiesttofindandgiveyouthemostvarietytoworkwith.Simplyaddoneeighthofateaspoonofpowdertoyourmeltedsoapandstiruntilit’scompletedincorporated.Ifyouwantadarkercolor,youcanadduptoonequarterteaspoonintotal.Oncefullystirred,spraythetopofyourmeltedbasewithrubbingalcoholtoremoveanybubbles,thenpourintoyourmold!

Asyoumayhaveguessed,thesamerulesweusedforregularmeltandpoursoapapplytogoatmilkmeltandpoursoapwhenitcomestofragranceandcolor.Addbothoncethesoapismelted,andincreasetheamountsasnecessarytoreachyourdesiredstrength.
