ti nascono e operano in un’area geografi-ca che, storicamente, ha tessuto rapporticon le popolazioni “vocate”: quelle cioèche della frutta secca, del trattamento edel commercio di uva sultanina, noci,mandorle e pistacchi, di fichi, prugne e al-bicocche hanno sempre fatto una fonte direddito, ma, prima ancora, una risorsa ali-mentare. In questo senso, tutti etre i gruppi leader che hanno sede in Li-guria operano a tutto campo.A cominciare da NNoobbeerraassccoo: fondata nel1908 a Savona come ”Ditta individualeBenedetto Noberasco”, ha sviluppato ilproprio giro d’affari fino a diventare unadelle più importanti aziende italiane delsettore. Il prodotto-regina è la prugna:

Il fattu-rato è di oltre 66 milioni di euro, i dipen-denti una cinquantina. “Siamo in grado –aggiunge il presidente – di rispondere siaai picchi di domanda stagionale, sia allerichieste che si sviluppano nel corso del-l’anno, grazie al continuo potenziamentodelle strutture”.Segno distintivo, del resto, di quella capa-cità imprenditoriale che è la dote comunea tutte e tre le realtà industriali “liguri einternazionali”, leader del mercato.
