Paterson PS Cattle Judging Team Well we survived Scone and did quite well considering the numbers of kids. The day started early for us

getting up at 4:30am, we left home by 5:30 and arrived in scone at 7:30 for an 8am start with the hoof

and hook classes, the steer didn't place in his class of 16, but the heifer got 7th in her class of 16.

A total of 720 students and 442 cattle were entered which set a new

record for this show. In the primary school section there was 128

kids entered in the Parading, Emma was first in, she got highly

commended out of a class of 18, next in was Dylan, Kieran, Becky

& Oscar. Dylan and Kieran got 2nd and 3rd in their group class

and Becky got fifth and Oscar got highly commended, Kieran and

Dylan got into the final 19 out of 128 students, but didn't win

the final.

All in all considering they were up against Kids that come from

country schools with a large ag background they all did really well.

The Group pic is the kids with kyren and Killer (aka "Dopey") and the

limousin youth members Monique Astrada and Allana Norris.

Looking forward to returning next year with a bigger team and

camping there next time.
