Ash Wednesday is February 18th this year. We are collecting old palms to be burned for the ashes. You may bring your old palms to church and place them in the basket in the parish center.

Our Lady of Fatima seeks a Parish Center Coordinator to work between 10-20 hours per week. The successful candidate will be able to work flexible hours and coordinate with the Parish Administrative Assistant in scheduling activities and events in the Parish Center and Kitchen.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining the Parish Center & Kitchen equipment, utensils, coordinating with those using the Parish Center & Kitchen, Set-up and Take-down of tables, chairs & moving/configuring wall panels.

Knights of Columbus Crab Dinner Get ready for some of the best crab you've ever had! Join the Knights of Columbus on Saturday Night, February 21st at 6:00pm in the Parish Center for the Annual Crab Dinner. This is a big fundraiser for the Knights and your support is appreciated. The crab this year are big and the Knights will prepare and cook the crab right on site, assuring you of the freshest crab possible! MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY:
EM: Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion EMs help the priest at mass to distribute the Precious Body & Blood of our Lord during Communion. Those interested in serving as EMs should be confirmed, practicing the faith, and in good standing with the Church. Training and support is provided. Scheduling is flexible.
This could also be an opportunity to serve together as a family team.

Several of our 8th grade students are part of a north regional Catholic school choir that is singing at Friday's Celebration of Light event. This Fulcrum Foundation fundraiser celebrates
the good being done by Archdiocesan Catholic schools and helps provide support for them.
Two Fatima CYO teams are in the finals this Sunday at Bishop Blanchet High School. The 6th grade girls play at noon and the 7th grade boys play at 4:30 p.m. Go Falcons!
The Knights of Columbus Catholic High School Scholarship
Two (2) One-Thousand dollar scholarships are available to all eighth grade students in Our Lady of Fatima Parish, who will attend a Catholic high school in the fall. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of personal character, academic merit, and financial need. Applicants can pick-up a requirement form and an application at the parish office or call Jason Leong for more information at 285-1309. DEADLINE for submitting the application is February 20, 2015.

The Good Shepherd Preschool is enrolling students for the 2015-2016 school year...and we're filling up fast!
Ours is a small preschool, nestled within OLF, led by two wonderful, certified, Montessori teachers. We provide a Montessori based, Catholic education for young students between 3 and 5 years old.
The morning session is full, but we still have room in the afternoon. The afternoon class meets from 12:15 to 3:15 and your child may attend two to four days per week as you choose.

MAGNOLIA MOMS EASTER BASKET PROJECT The Magnolia Moms group is looking for help to fill their Easter Baskets for women & children living in transitional housing. Many of these families get great joy from receiving our baskets filled with essential items like shampoo, soaps, toothpaste, books, and much more. We are looking for your support & generosity to help deliver as many Easter Baskets as possible. You may drop off your purchased items in the baskets in the Parish Center before or after Mass.
