Queridos feligreses:

Hoy, la Iglesia nos invita a convertirnos y, con Jesús, nos dice: «Convertíos y creed en la Buena Nueva» (Mc 1,15). Por tanto, habrá que hacer caso a Jesucristo, corrigiendo y mejorando lo que sea necesario.

Toda acción humana conecta con el designio eterno de Dios sobre nosotros y con la vocación a escuchar a Jesús, seguirlo en todo y para todo, y proclamarlo tal como lo hicieron los primeros discípulos, tal como lo han hecho y procuramos hacerlo millones de personas.

Ahora es la oportunidad de encontrar a Dios en Jesucristo; ahora es el momento de nuestra vida que empalma con la eternidad feliz o desgraciada; ahora es el tiempo que Dios nos proporciona para encontrarnos con Él, vivir como hijos suyos y hacer que los acontecimientos cotidianos tengan la carga divina que Jesucristo —con su vida en el tiempo— les ha impreso.

¡No podemos dejar perder la oportunidad presente!: esta vida más o menos larga en el tiempo, pero siempre corta, pues «la apariencia de este mundo pasa» (1Cor 7,31).

Hermanos y hermanas El segundo don de la corresponsabilidad, es la ORACIÓN, un corazón a corazón con Dios: es a través de la oración que alimentamos nuestra relación personal con el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo. “La oración es tan necesaria para nuestra alma como la comida lo es para nuestro cuerpo”. (Características de un mayordomo cristiano) El pilar de oración ofrece oportunidades y enseña a los feligreses a participar en la oración como comunidad y en casa en la iglesia doméstica. Es a través de la oración y la Misa que aprendemos a reconocer, recibir y compartir con gratitud nuestros dones en el amor a Dios y al prójimo. Nuestra Señora de la Paz, ruega por nosotros. Bautizos

Deben venir a la oficina de la parroquia y completar el

formulario de bautismo y traer el certificado de nacimiento

del niño y el certificado de confirmación de los padrinos.

Tenga en cuenta que solo aquellos que han sido confirma-

dos pueden servir como padrinos en la Iglesia Católica.

Los padres y padrinos deben tomar una clase de bautismo.

Las clases son solo el ultimo domingo de cada mes des-

pués de la misa de 12pm. Llamar a la oficina para registrar-

se.

La donación sugerida es de $80.

Si la persona solo quiere tomar la clase para bautizar en

otro lugar, la donación sugerida es de $35. Si ese es el

caso, por favor llame a la oficina, para que podamos

escribirle la carta diciendo que ya tomó la clase.

Los bautismos toman lugar cada primer sábado durante la

misa de 6:00pm

Dear Parishioners:

Today, the Church invites us to change our ways and, through Jesus, is telling us: «Change your ways and believe the Good News» (Mk 1:15). We will, therefore, have to pay attention to what Jesus Christ is saying, while correcting and improving what is needed.

Any human action connects with God's eternal designs about us and with the vocation to listen to Jesus, to follow Him in everything and to proclaim Him, just as the first disciples did, as millions of persons have done and as we try to do, too.

We now have the opportunity to find God through Jesus Christ; it is now, therefore, the moment of our life to connect us to either a happy or miserable eternity; it is also now, the time God provides us with, to meet Him, to live as his sons and to make our daily events to become loaded with the divine transcendence Jesus Christ —with his life through time— has poured on them.

We cannot miss this opportunity!: our life may be more or less lengthy in time, but will always be too short, «for the world in its present form is passing away» (1Co 7:31).

Brothers and sisters, the second gift of stewardship is PRAYER - a heart to heart with God: It is through pray-

er that we nurture our personal relationship with Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. “Prayer is as necessary to our souls as food is to our bodies.” (Characteristics of a Christian Steward) The Pillar of Prayer offers opportuni-ties and teaches parishioners to participate in prayer as a community and at home in the domestic church. It is through prayer and Mass that we learn to gratefully recognize, receive, and share our gifts in love of God and neighbor.
