Welcome! If this is your first time at FaithWestwood, we want you to know how glad we are you came. We also know it can be a little scary coming to a new church. That’s why we want to do everything we can to help you feel at home, find new friends, and take the next step in your faith.

Green shirts, green sheets, green bagsIf you have questions, ask anyone wearing a green FaithWestwood polo this morning. Or leave us a note on the green sign-in sheet in your bulletin, which will be collected with the offering. We also invite our new guests to pick up one of our “little green bags” in the foyer. Inside you’ll find a little info and a small gift.

We hope that what you experience this morning brings you back next weekend. We’d love to see you again soon!

Coming Up @ FaithWestwood…Sexes in the ScripturesWhat’s a woman to do? Or a man to do? Are the gender roles we accept really in the Bible, or do we just assume they are? And would key scriptures about men and women speak to us differently if we understood the cultural situations behind them?

Beginning next month, we will take a fresh look at passages in the Bible that address these and other questions. But beware. You may end up challenging some long-held assumptions.

July 7”The Manufacturer’s Original Specifications” What does Genesis mean when it says that the woman is a helper to the man? Is “helper” a role of inferiority? Superiority? How did the introduction of sin upset the Eden design? A new picture will emerge as we take a fresh look at Genesis.

Meet our staff...Each week we will introduce you to one of our staff members:

Annette Garza, Asst. Director, Love & Learn Child Development CenterI’m here to help you with…

• Answering questions regarding the child care center and our pre-school and summer school-age programs

• Answering questions regarding all of the activities and events that happen in our center

• Help potential parents set a date and take a tour of our facility

• Help with questions about your payment account• Help shape your child in all of the stages of development, physically and

spiritually.
