Bracket C (4 teams, playing round-robin

In the first match yesterday, White Hall scored most of their goals from the field while Mt Brilliant scored all but one of theirs from the penalty line. A very close match throughout, ending each of the last 4 chukkers within one goal. But White Hall was able to keep their one goal advantage and won 9-8. The second match was then to determine who would advance to the 12 goal finals. Heradurra came out on fire, dominating the first half, ending the third with a 6-1 lead. Hawk Hill came out for the 4th with a whole new attitude. They held Heradurra to just two goals through the fouth and fifth, scoring two field goals and two penalty shots themselves to go into the 6th down 8-5. Still a fairly daunting lead with only 7 minutes to play... but Gringo Columbres came alive scoring back to back field goals within the first half of the chukker. Memo answered with a field goal of his own, but Gringo tied it up at the end of the chukker to finish the 6th 8-8. Overtime was short, just 25 seconds into the chukker a penalty 4 was awarded to Hawk Hill. Ezequial lofted it over everyone’s head to win the game 9-8.

Sunday at Polo BubbleSpirited Sponsor Happenings

at Sunday Polo!

On-site sponsor events dazzled the sellout crowd at Sunday polo. Lilly Pulitzer opened two vibrant stations with a

fashionable assortment of “must-have” giveaways. Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach orchestrated a dynamic social media contest, with guests posting their pics to win dinner for two at Jove. Belvedere Vodka featured a solid sculp-tured ice bar where guests could choose between an Argentine mojito and a wild berry lemonade libation. Of course, the bubbly flowed and was complemented by beautiful Veuve Clicquot models serving rosé champagne in elegant miniature glasses. The Veuve Clicquot Fashion on the Field winner was Renata Sanfilippo. Renata wore an exquisite, fitted white lattice dress, accessorized with Valen-tino shoes, a gold-studded black belt, and a wide-brimmed black and white hat. So chic!

Happy Birthday Matthew

Whether preparing to attend India Night 2015 and unsure of what to wear or simply drawn to the

stunning beauty of Indian attire, plan to head to the Inter-national Polo Club (IPC) on Sunday, March 8. Beginning at 6 p.m. in the Grande Pavilion, the Salva-tion Tree Foundation will auction off authentic Indian formal wear, straight off the runways of India. The live fashion show auction event is the perfect precursor to India Night 2015, to be held the following Thursday, March 12. Fifteen stunning, one-of-a-kind, handmade outfits, to be worn during the India Night event, will be auctioned off, and authentic Indian scarves, shawls and accessories will also be available. Equine Couture and TuffRider brand owners, Timmy and Laurie Sharma, founded the Salvation Tree School and Foundation in 2010 after recognizing the need for better education in India. Through the Salvation Tree Foundation, Equine Cou-ture, TuffRider and Henri de Rivel are able to provide the children of the brands’ employees in India with an unmatched quality of education. Each year since the school’s founding, a new grade is added as the senior-most class advances to the next one. Currently 250 children are attending the school. For more information, visit www.salvationtree.org.
