FROM THE DESKThankfully electoral process in Pakistan is over with Mian Nawaz Shari
as the new Prime minister of Pakistan. The 25 members cabinet has
sworn in on last Friday and we are waiting to see who gets the portfolio
for overseas Pakistanis. The care taker Prime Minister Mr. Khosa has
approved a policy for overseas Pakistanis during his last week but detail
are neither known nor do we know of the consultations that have taken
place with those who live overseas.
An update from us is that we will be celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr and Pakista
Independence Day celebrations in August. While an event is planned fo
17th August we will also have a small celebration on 14th August to
coincide with the ceremony in Pakistan at the same time in UWA Guild
Village Insha Allah.
The tickets for 17th August will go on sale next Monday as we finalize
the detail.
Our next event to celebrate Eidul Azha will be on 20th October in
collaboration with City of Vincent.
Another milestone that we achieve was crossing 1000 mark on our
facebook membership.

THE UWA PODIATRIC MEDICINE UNIT IS SEEKING PARTICIPANTS FOR A FINAL YEAR
RESEARCH PROJECT.
Volunteers with PLANTAR WARTS who have not had any treatment in the past 3 months are required to
participate. The purpose of this study is to compare occlusive duct tape to standard cryotherapy as
treatment for warts on your feet. If the research demonstrates favourable outcomes for duct tape, it could
be a cheap, PAIN-FREE and convenient alternative to traditional wart therapies. Both treatments being
offered will be FREE of charge to eligible participants at the UWA Podiatry Clinic (located in the Park Av
Building). For further information or to volunteer to participate, please contact the UWA Podiatry Clinic

HELP REQUIRED TO BUILD A MOSQUE IN CAMPBELLTOWN
"Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allh's pleasure, Allh builds for him the like of it in paradise." Al
Bukhari
Saarban Islamic Trust was setup to build Masajid. Our first project was to establish a Masjid in Bankstown area
and Alhamdulillah today Bankstown Masjid is serving the Muslim community in the area.
Allah has given us opportunity to build another Masjid in Campbelltown city. Saarban Islamic Trust has
purchased a property of existing church in Campbelltown at 10 Kingsclare st, Leumeah for a total price of$700,000. This property is located at only short walk to Train Station and 3-5 min drive to Campbelltown CBD
and M5. Being an existing church, it will enable us to use it as place of worship without any problem,
lnshaAllah. Grab yourself a palace.
What would be the reward If you buy 1 SQM of Masjid land for yourself, for your family members or for
deceased parents @ $810 Just for the sake of Allah?
