January 9—Quilt Retreat — Help start the new year off with fun,
sewing, and fellowship as we hold our Quilt Retreat to make charity quilts.
Bring your sewing machine, or just your talents, as there will be work for eve-
ryone. We will gather at St. Paul’s at 9:00 and lunch will be provided by the
Board, we’ll eat at noon. Our quilts will focus on adults, men and women, to
benefit residents of nursing homes and/or soldiers. Suggested size is approx
mately 45” x 56”. Here’s the perfect opportunity to dig out those fabric
scraps and put them to a wonderful use. There will be people available to help
carry in machines and supplies. There is a lot that can be accomplished withou
a machine so everyone doesn’t have to bring one.

Fundraising Report by Sue RoyI'm pleased to report the Welcome Home Quilt
(drawn for at the Dec. Mtg.) was won by
Lucille Sievert of Ponca City. She has always
wanted to buy a bed sized quilt, but was un-
able to because of the cost. Her daughter has
made her wall quilts which she treasures. Shewas absolutely delighted to win. She called
several quilt guild members to let them know
just how excited about winning she was. The
ticket was purchased at Oktoberfest.
