  • Period Close Helper (PCH)

Why do we offer PCH ? Due to the corruptions/defects, period close activity becomes a critical activity as it delays the internal deadlines.

Some transactions in the period close exception report(PCER) remains stuck which leaves you with no option but to

    raise an SR.

What do we offer ? PCH aims at providing user a tool to check if any transactions are stuck which might prevent period close. It ensures

that the transactions preventing the period close will be caught in the diagnostics suggesting the next course of action.

Benefits for you ? PCH output gives a clear step by step instructions to fix each transaction identified as period close stopper.

Corruptions are also identified(using MGD) along with the GDFs to fix the data where ever applicable

PCH can also be registered as a concurrent program.

  • Master GDF (MGD)

Why do we offer MGD ? Data corruptions play a vital role in incomplete transactions which delays the key processes.

These data integrity issues need to be fixed to complete key activities in the system.

What do we offer ? MGD will check the transactions you specify for any data issues for which Generic Data Fix (GDF) patches are

available. It can also scan for additional known issues for which a GDF patch is not yet available (Non-GDF).

Benefits for you ? The diagnostic output will point customer to the KM notes available which gives you step-step procedure on how to fix

    the data corruption.

MGD can also be registered as a concurrent program.

Why do we offer RPC ? Over the time a number of very important fixes have been made to the Oracle Payables application.

Many of these fixes affect Critical Business Processes such as Period Close and are observed as reoccurring very

    often in the Installed Base

    What do we offer ?

Adoption of these important fixes is highly recommended, so consolidating them into a single Recommended Patch

Collection has been done to facilitate this Proactive activity.

    Benefits for you ?

RPC will address code fixes for 80% of the corruptions identified.

The RPC is a collection of such recommended patches that was created with the following goals in mind:
