A simple hat that can be changed a million ways! Materials: Acrylic worsted weight yarn. I used Caron Simply Soft • Main Color (MC) ~100 – 300 yards • Contrast Color 1 (CC1) ~40–120 yds • Small amount for flowers

Fun Decorations -‐ Hook US G (4.00 mm) Cord around band: chain as many as necessary to go around band of hat plus leave strands for hanging, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and each remaining ch. Fasten off. Weave in and out of center of band leaving strands hanging in back.
Curls: *With MC, ch25, 3sc in 2nd ch from hook and each remaining ch; with C1, ch25, 3sc in 2nd ch from hook and each remaining ch*; alternate the colors and repeat between * until you have the desired number of curls – I made 3 of each color. Fasten off leaving a long strand to attach to hat. Sew in place.
Flowers: Ch12, 3hdc in 3rd ch from hook and next 3 ch, 3dc in each remaining st. Fasten off leaving long end. Twist flower into place starting in center; use long strand to tack in place and sew to hat.
