I had four different SAE projects this year. They were Wildlife Habitat Improvement, Smith's Dog Grooming, Market Swine, and Greenhouse Skills and Tasks. The wildlife habitat improvement was my most enjoyable SAE Project this past year. In the fifteen acre plot on which I was working I was able to construct five brush piles for cover and do some Timber Stand Improvement to promote wildlife habitat.

I was able to attend two different conferences conducted by the PGC. The first was on the White tailed deer and the second on hunters in a non-hunting society. I also participated in the Wildlife CDE at FFA Activities Week.

I was also able to make some contacts for job shadowing in the coming year which will be related to by Wildlife SAE.

When I started at Smith's Dog Grooving I had very few skills. I was able to do the billing and paperwork assigned to me, but had difficultly in understanding some of the tasks to be completed due to my low knowledge……..
