An electronic timingsystem ensures that the gearbox nevermisprints a coin, while a very clever designfeature ensures that coins are pressed flat.This results in a reliable and robust gearboxthat will produce hundreds of thousands ofsouvenirs.
In fact an independent testing laboratorysaid it was “over engineered” showing intheir testing that it takes 3 tonnes ofpressure to press a coin while our gearbox israted for more than 9 tonnes of pressure.

In tune with the lines and illumination ofthe rest of the cabinet, the top sign isilluminated with the same colour of LED’s asthe bottom of the cabinet.
The standard design features the PennyPress Factory logo, but you can optionallyhave it customised to your logo. It is in onecolour only and illuminated with LED’s.

It accepts notes or coins.
The Penny Press can be supplied with eithera note acceptor or an electronic coinmechanism.
Both the coin mechanism and note acceptorwork with any currency. Once the credit isreached they will activate the hopper whichwill dispense the coin or token which will bepressed into a souvenir.
This gives you the flexibility to accept anykind of coin or note or you could evenbecome cashless and use a card system.
The Hopper
No copper coins? No Problem.
The hopper solves a problem. Who carries small copper coins with them ? How much revenue has been lost because people didn’t have the right coin to crush?
The hopper can be filled with UK 1p, US 1cand Euro 5c coins or we can supply silvertokens with a guarantee of consistency.
It holds 600 coins and once it receives thesignal from the money acceptor it willdispense the coin or token into the gearboxready to be made into a souvenir.

Our tokens are made in Germany. Theycome with a guarantee of consistency. Thatmeans that every time you press them theywill come out exactly the same size.
You can choose from gold or silver tokenswhich give the souvenirs a better look anddo not tarnish over time. What’s more thegold or silver implies a higher value than thecopper.
But don’t worry you can fill the hopper witheuro’s, US cents or UK 1p’s just let us knowwhen you order so we can prepare thegearbox.

The Die Wheel has your custom images onit. Though we hold penny presses in stock,the die wheels are made to order with yourimages.
Simply send us 4 images, which can be inany format and we will make them into linedrawings then send you proofs.
Once you approve the proof the die wheelwill be made and then express shipped tous, fitted to your penny press and tested.
