About the PERG
The Professional Education & Resource Guide is most well-known by its acronym, PERG, pronounced like the “burg” part of “hamburger” only with a “p.” Massage therapists and bodyworkers have come to rely on the PERG for easy reference to continuing education opportunities in their state.
The PERG offers a variety of ways to select courses that meet your continuing education needs. Browse the pages of advertisements to discover opportunities to enhance your skills and explore new and exciting theories and protocols. Or look up the dates you are available to take classes in the index at the back of the guide; then go straight to the pages that describe those course listings.
Published in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee, the PERG is mailed free of charge to licensed massage therapists and bodyworkers. The PERG does not maintain any mailing lists; each time it is published, a new list of licensees’ addresses is obtained from the appropriate state board. Simply keep your address up to date with your state massage board and you will never miss a copy of the PERG. Expect to receive your Georgia PERG twice per year in renewal years (January and July) and once per year in non-renewal years (July, only.)
