I. When describing foods, it is important that we make our nouns and adjectives agree. For example, the word “fried” can be said in 4 different ways, depending on what food is being described.

§ frito – describes something masculine and singular (ex: el pollo).

§ frita – describes something feminine and singular (ex: la cebolla).

§ fritos – describes something masculine and plural (ex: los mariscos).

§ fritas – describes something feminine and plural (ex: las papas).

II. It is also important that we write the noun before the adjective in our sentences. For example:
