one who had a part in making our

coming to Jamaica possible.

Since arriving

I

ave visited eight churches

together with Bro. Fream and there have been 17

responses to the invitation.

2nd

is the beginning of a nev/ semester in

the Jamaica

Bible

Seminary, V / e have

four students

enr olled and need

many more but $30.00

a

month

must

be

pledged for the support

of

each student. Here is

the f\.iture of

the

churches

of Christ in

Jamaica.

V / e ask God to

raise

up

those

v/ho will

supnort

a

student

to preach the word of God.

The

cost

of travel

to

Jamaica

was much more than

we

had ex nected and

our

funds are very

low V / e

put up

a $1500,00

cash bond

for entry

which we

had not expected

to pay and that used up most of the

funds

with which

we

had

hoped

to

purchase

a small

Bnglish

car.

V / e pray

that someone

might

see the need and provide the money

that we could have

a

car to visit

the many

churches

that

need

teaching.

Our

days are

full

and we oftne wish just

was

just a

little

more time and

a little less heat. The

spring rains

make

it

very humid,

Friday we got

about

six inches of

rain in

less than two

hours. The room

in which

our children are to sleep still has no

windov/s

so

they are

in the

front

room until we

can

fix

someway

to

keen

out the rain.
