Minimal Pairs
A minimal pair is a pair of words whose pronunciation is almost the same. They only differ in ONE SINGLE phonological element.
It is important to make a differentiation between them, in order to avoid ambiguities.
We will use minimal pairs to be able to establish differences between certain sounds.
