Swimming The lodge offers an indoor pool year-round and an outdoor pool from Memorial Day to Labor Day exclusively for our cabin, and inn guests. There are two swim beaches on the south shore of Pickwick Lake open to the general public. Golf Course Strategically located sand traps, tight fairways and water hazards make this 6,400 yard par 72 course one of the highest rated public courses in the state. Golf packages are available. Tee times can be made online or by calling 731-689-3149. Hiking Enjoy the three mile trail that meanders through a beautiful hardwood forest along the river. More relaxing than strenuous, the trail offers the hiker a glimpse of wildlife and natural wonders of this resort park. For those who enjoy a short, easy walk, we have a one mile, paved walking trail that starts in front of the park lodge. Fishing The area is known for smallmouth bass and catfish. Biting year round are crappie, bluegill, white bass, stripes and sauger. Boat rentals, fishing piers, bank fishing and local guides are available. Pickwick Landing State Parkis located just south of Pickwick Dam, 12 miles south of Savannah, Tenn., in Hardin County. The lake and river offer excellent fishing, boating, swimming and a marina. Accommodations in the park include a lodge and restaurant, cabins and camping. There is also a beautiful and challenging golf course. The park contains 1,416 acres of forested hills and hollows. There is a 2.8 mile trail to explore and enjoy the wildlife and plant life around the lake. Picnic pavilions and play fields are also available.

Historical Significance Pickwick Landing was a riverboat stop dating from the 1840s. In the 1930s, during the Depression, the site was chosen for one of the Tennessee Valley Authority’s dams on the Tennessee River. The State of Tennessee purchased the land from TVA in 1969.

Lodge and Conference Center The Lodge and Conference Center overlooks beautiful Pickwick Lake. All 124 rooms have picturesque lake views. The lodge has a gift shop, restaurant, meeting rooms, exercise rooms and an indoor and outdoor pool. Pet and accessible rooms are available upon request. Wireless Internet is available.

Meeting Rooms Five meeting rooms are available for meetings or banquets. The conference center has over 6,000 square feet of space for large groups or the rooms can be broken down to accommodate from 20 to 500 people. Each room is equipped for Wi-Fi.

Gift Shop The gift shop offers a wide assortment of apparel,gifts, and souvenirs. Need a toothbrush? We have that too!

Cabins and Villas There are 10 standard cabins with two bedrooms and one bathroom that accommodate up to six people. The cabins have a full-size kitchen, central heat and air, patio, outdoor grill, cable TV and wall mounted electric fireplace.Our seven villas offer first-class comfort and modern convenience. All villas have spacious living, dining and kitchen areas and a choice of two or three bedrooms. Amenities include full size kitchens, dishwasher, central heat and air, Wi-Fi, outdoor gas grills, patios, cable TV and a gas fireplace.Due to the popularity, reservations should be made well in advance. Accessible cabins are available and should be requested when reservations are made.

Restaurant The restaurant, overlooking beautiful Pickwick Lake, specializes in Southern cuisine and hospitality. Our catering menu can be tailored to fit any need and function, from whole lobster tobarbeque picnics.

Boating The marina is fully equipped to handle crafts of all sizes and offers wet storage, dry storage, sailboat and transient slips. Rental boats and fuels are available at the marina’s full-service dock and the marina store/office sells other supplies. The marina is open year round with two public launch ramps. You may rent an assortment of boats at the marina, pontoon, motorized fishing boat, canoe, single kayak, tandem kayak, and stand up paddle board. These boats may be rented by the hour or all day. PICKWICK LANDING STATE PARK

Camping The beautiful wooded campground is open year-round and has 48 sites, each equipped with a table, a grill and electrical and water hook-up. A bathhouse and dump station are centrally located. Reservations can be made online or by contacting the park office. The Bruton Branch Recreation Area is a primitive campground and picnic area that is open year-round. It is located on the north side of Pickwick Lake just off Highway 128. There are 32 sites lo-cated in this area with some sites located on the lake. A bathhouse, playground and boat ramp are available. Reservations can be made online or by contacting the park office. Pets are allowed, but must be kept on a leash at all times.
