Pioneering family winemaking in Monterey County for almost 40 years, the Hahn’s have
always sought to produce fine wines from estate vineyards. Today, their second generation
continues this tradition by introducing luxurious wines carefully crafted for restaurants.
Each wine is produced to express vibrant yet integrated fruit flavors and balanced acidity to
compliment and enhance a variety of foods.
V I N Y E A R D Grapes for this wine are estate grown in the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County.
A hidden gem, sitting below the Santa Lucia Highlands, these vineyards sit on a gravelly
alluvial plain with rocky soils fostering excellent drainage. Cool winds channeling South
from Monterey Bay through the Salinas Valley, ensure optimum ripening conditions
throughout the warm growing season. W I N E M A K I N G
FERMENTATON Small stainless steel fermenters, gently punched down several
times daily to encourage extraction of texture, f lavor and aromatics.
AGING After a light press and skin removal, this wine aged in 30% new French
oak, 70% neutral French oak for 10 months. This oak regime adds character and
balances the final wine.

A welcoming bouquet of bright cherry, black plum and cedar give way to subtle baking
spices. On the palate, fresh rich cherry and bright strawberries lead to notes of oak,
vanilla and baking spices, finishing with velvety tannins.
