Pitch – Audience/class Feedback I asked this question because I wanted to get an overall feel of the age group of my audience. I have targeted my audience at ages 15-35. From this survey I can see the the majority of my audience is in the age group 16-20. I expected this result as I know that this is the generation that the Indie pop style and music appeals to most. However the second at popular is 21-25 which is another result I expected as they are the second youngest age group. This result could also be due to the fact that I didn’t ask many people in the ages of 26-30 or 31-35, therefore it would

Pitch – Audience/class FeedbackI asked this question because I wanted to get an overall feel of the age group of my audience. I have targeted my audience at ages 15-35. From this survey I can see the the majority of my audience is in the age

group 16-20. I expected this result as I know that this is the generation that the

Indie pop style and music appeals to most. However the second at popular is 21-25

which is another result I expected as they are the second youngest age group. This result could also be due to the fact that I didn’t ask many people in the ages of 26-30 or 31-35, therefore it would interesting

to see if there would be a change in the result if I asked more people of those ages. However I will keep my target audience as

15-25 as I believe that it will captivate a wider audience.

This question was to evaluate if I got the audience research and fashion and style of my magazine correct. I wanted to see if the audience I asked shopped at the places that sell similar styled

clothing to music artists in my genre of magazine. Fortunately, the three most popular choices of shops was where I found a lot of the fashion inspiration from. I now feel reassured in the fashion

and style of clothing for my magazine.

This question was to gather feedback on the price of my

magazine from the research I have completed. This had quite a mixed result as demonstrated in the pie chart. I have concluded that this was because I did not

specify the size of my magazine, which would determine the price.

This question was to consolidate my decision to release monthly issues of

my magazine. The most popular result was the monthly option which agreed with my original idea in my pitch. However this popular result was also tied with the ‘1 or less’

option. But I have concluded that this result perhaps could have been due to smaller range of age groups I

asked. Therefore I have chosen to stay with the monthly release.

This question was to give me an indication of what my audience would like to see in a double page spread to

aid me in drafting my article. The results were pretty clear and has

helped me plan my article.

This question was to give me an idea about where my audience would

purchase their magazines from. This could influence my decision on the

publishing institution.

This final question was to finalise my decision

on the title of my magazine. Fortunately I had a 100% vote that it was a good name which

makes me feel more confident in the name.

This concludes my audience/class feedback on my pitch. I am reassured on a lot of my decisions I have made from my research and inspiration from other magazines. I planned to but these decision into action through out the development of my magazine.
