Danish design tradition with new and original

perspectives from across the world, combining

the simplicity of Scandinavian design with a

This 2015/2016 Collection is all about reviving

timeless geometric shapes through vibrant

colours, high-quality fabrics and meticulous

craftwork.

In these times of instant, fast-track and ready-to-

go, we all have an increasing craving of things

handmade, well made and made to last. Refresh

your home by reconnecting to craftsmanship and

creating a mood of authenticity and storytelling

by heart.

Three colours; the delicate Powder Rose, the

poetic Duckegg Blue and the radiant Orange

dominate the collection mixed with classic black,

creamy and grey tones. The overall style is poetic

and composed, a blend of tones, materials,

curves and structures.

Our ambition is to add an ethnic touch to the

clean lines of Scandinavian design and reviving

the esteem and splendeur of exquisite materials

and craftmanship. We believe in the meeting

of cultures, aesthetics and inspiration, and

combine different cultural references with a

love of traditional techniques, premium quality

and colour.

We aspire to rethink and revitalize the art

of Home Decoration and Living, by creating

products that stimulate your senses and touch

GRADIENT CUSHIONS

The beautiful gradient colours of green, coral, grey and maroon make your heart and mind remember the rich diversity of our planet. Gradient Cushion represent a unique mix of texture and colours, completed on top with a covered button.

STAR CUSHIONS

The Star Cushion is Place de Bleu’s signature design per se. It represents the playful meeting between the classic Moroccan Cushion and a more Scandinavian feel. With its round shape and clean lines the Star Cushion makes a colourful addition to any room.

LUNA CUSHIONS

The Luna Cushion is the perfect sister to Place de Bleus famous Star Cushion; a perfect match to your sofa or favorite chair, so very much alike, but still different!

SAMUR CUSHIONS

All Place de Bleu designs are inspired by the aesthetics and skills of our employed women. This cushion is designed entirely by one of our very skilled employees Samur, originating from Syria. The Samur Cushion has a delicate and instantly seductive look and feel that makes it a natural part of any interior of decoration.

ARCHI CUSHIONS

Simply beautiful and beautiful simplicity characterize the Archi Cushion. Originally designed for tea and coffee cozies but so awesome that we immediately felt in love; We simply had to make it a cushion too.

AMARA CUSHIONS & AMARA FLOOR CUSIONS

Beautiful geometrically patterns is almost synonymous with the arabic world. The Amara Cushion is our Nordic interpretation with a twist. Available in three lovely variations and two sizes.

GRADIENT MINI MOROCCAN POUF

A multifunctional piece of furniture and a modern answer to the traditional pouf. The inspiration comes from the traditional Moroccan ottoman, with focus on handcraft and playfulness of construction.

The Suq Shopping Bag is inspired by Marrakech with its vibrant mood and soft adventure caught in the textile.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

FABRICSAll fabrics are surplus production from the Danish manufacturer Kvadrat A/S. That means every collection is limited and some products occasionally may vary slightly in colour or texture. Any irregularities are to be considered part

of the design and distinguishes the collection as handmade as opposed to factory produced.

FILLINGS AND CLOSURESCushions have a cotton insert with 100% down/duck feathers. Poufs are filled with foam. Cosies are padded with 100% polyester wadding for

insulation. Round cushions feature a fabric-covered button on the front and are hand pieced in the back. Rectangular cusions feature a zip closure below.

HANDLE WITH CARE We recommend dry clean of all our products.
