A Fond Farewell

As you may have heard, after 32 years, I will be leaving

the Plum Senior Center at the end of June. It will cer-

tainly be a bittersweet departure. I will be leaving a job

that I have loved, but I look forward to having time to

do other things like travel to see friends, family and the

world – but probably just the country or Florida where my

two young grandchildren and my daughter live.

I certainly plan to be around. I only live three miles

away (another perk of my job!) and I can help out if

needed and continue to participate in our Book Club,

which I started back in 2001. And, of course, I should do

the fitness programs and activities that I have been tell-

ing all of you to do over the years. I have spent more

time with Earlene than probably any other person in my

later life, so I will have to return just to see her. I’ll let

her figure out my insurance problems!

My wish is for you all to continue to enjoy the Center we

have built and for you to support it in any way you can.

You are the owners. And as such you can encourage oth-

ers to use it, you can contribute to it and brag about it.

We have had so many compliments from visitors lately.

Let’s you and I together continue to make the Center one

of the best places to be. Thank you for everything. I love

you. Nina
