“While we obviously cannot change the past, it is clear that we must change the future. …
It is my hope that, by working together, we can break this historic cycle of mistrust and build a better and safer future for us all.”

GOOD NEWS!
(CNN) Americans' respect for police has climbed to a near-record high, according to a new Gallup poll.
The findings, released Oct. 24, show that 76% of adults said they have "a great deal" of respect for their local police -- a 12-point jump since last year and just one point shy of the all-time Gallup high in 1967.

Our strategic planning process connects police to the underrepresented populations they serve in deeply meaningful ways.
Community policing, coupled with a strong community narrative will: • Ease racial tensions • Break myths perpetuated in media • Provide a new narrative for police.
