A dynamic, vibrant retirement village: A designed system, with green street corridors and park islands to stimulate
physical activities and the primary senses of being human:
Identity:
An over-arching identity, with a theme for
each of the 4 different villages, which
kindle memories through art pieces, as
well as handcraft inspired patterns.
For the individual:
Stimulate the senses with herbs and
edible plants, textures, birds and view-
points. Keep the body active with
continuous meandering hiking trails with
ample of resting places for the frail
bodies of the elderly.
For the community:
Social places such as informal meeting
places in nature as well as formal places
such as tennis- and bowling courts.
