Post-exhibition Report
• The 101st China Food & Drinks Fair was successfully held in Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center from October 24 to 26. The Fair used all 10
indoor exhibition halls and some outdoor exhibition halls of Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center Phase I and Phase II. The total exhibition area is
119,233 sqm, with over 2,600 exhibitors, including 760 enterprises in the traditional liquor and alcoholic beverage exhibition area, 540 in the wine and international
spirits exhibition area, 580 in the food and beverage exhibition area, 250 in the condiment and ingredients exhibition area, 200 in the food machinery exhibition area,
250 in the packaging exhibition area and 40 in the Tianjin exhibition area.
• The Fair features active participation of Tianjin local enterprises. Apart from the 40 enterprises participating in the Tianjin exhibition area, Tianjin enterprises are
also active in other exhibition areas. According to statistics, 165 Tianjin food, liquor and condiment enterprises participated in the exhibition. They not only fully
showed their enthusiasm as the host, but demonstrated Tianjin's charm as a vital time-honored food manufacturing site and an important consumer market in the
north.

• At the opening ceremony, Zhang Guoqing, Mayor of Tianjin Municipal People's Government and Lv Jun, Chairman of COFCO, jointly unveiled the
CFDF.
• PresidentYu Xubo delivered a welcome speech on behalf of COFCO. He said that theconvening of the CFDF is an important cooperation between
COFCO and Tianjin indeveloping industrial economy. In the future, COFCO and Tianjin will continueto deepen cooperation in agriculture, food and
other fields to achieve mutuallybeneficial and win-win development.
• Onbehalf of Tianjin, Vice Mayor Jin Xiangjun of Tianjin Municipal Governmentexpressed his thanks to the guests from all walks of life. He said that
witheveryone's joint efforts, the CFDF would definitely be a complete success andbecome a grand gathering of businessmen and industry exchanges.
Opencooperation is a strategy to enhance further development. Tianjin will makeconcerted efforts with all parties and make full use of CFDF to
deepencooperation and jointly explore a new situation of win-win.

• Inline with the establishment of a special area for poverty alleviation
andagricultural assistance, the 101st CFDF Exhibitors' Centralized
SigningCeremony and Special Products Conference for Poverty Alleviation
andAgricultural Assistance launched on the Faire will further promote
accuratepoverty alleviation and create business opportunities for enterprises
in poorareas by holding special publicity and promotion activities. At the
site, WushiCounty in Xinjiang, Longan County in Guangxi and Changdu
City in Tibet Autonomous Region, supported by COFCOGroup and Tianjin
City, carried out industrial policy introduction andcentralized promotion of
characteristic products, and signed technicalassistance agreements with
national trade associations and media. In addition,Tianjin Exhibition Group,
Beijing Exhibition Group, Henan Exhibition Group,Southern France
Exhibition Group, COFCO and other exhibition groups andexhibitors also
successfully signed contracts with their partners at thisevent, demonstrating
their fruitful cooperation results during the CFDF.
Establishing Special Exhibition Areas for Poverty Alleviation and
Agricultural Assistance and Practicing the Responsibility of Central
Enterprises
• In order to fully fulfill the political and social responsibilities of COFCO and Tianjin in winning the battle against
poverty, give full play to the core role of CFDF in promoting trade negotiation and cooperation promotion, and better
serve the development of characteristic industries in poor areas, this CFDF, for the first time, set up a "special
exhibition area for poverty alleviation and agricultural assistance" to help enterprises in poor areas display their
products and discuss cooperation with participating merchants.
Diverse Featured Activities
• From October 19 to 27, the 101st CFDF "Global Food Joy Purchase"
jointly organized by Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, CFDF
Organization and Tianjin Food Group was successfully held in Joy City,
Minyuan Market Supermarket, Wu Mart and Ren Ren Le. During the
event, over 150 products were displayed in shopping malls and
supermarkets. Besides, various ways such as creative performance,
knowledge question and answer, interesting interaction, preferential
promotion, etc. were adopted to engage Tianjin citizens in the warm
atmosphere of the 101st CFDF in an intuitive manner and allow them
to enjoy real preferential treatment.
• On October 24, the main forum of the Fair, "A Bite of the 'Chinese Dream'-Summit Forum of National Food Industry", was held in Tianjin Meijiang Convention and
Exhibition Center. Food is the paramount necessity of the people, and food affluence is also the "Chinese dream" of the new era. At the site, Yao Jingyuan, a special researcher
from the Counsellor’s Office of the State Council, Zhang Liang, President of the Innovation Research Institute of the Industrial Culture Development Center of the Ministry of
Industry and Information Technology, Wang Jing, senior research director of Ipsos, and Liang Chunhua, senior vice president of Xinchao Media Group delivered keynote
speeches respectively. From their respective perspectives, participants elaborated on the role and influence of social changes and life changes on industry changes and digital
changes in the 70 years since the founding of New China.
