Situation

• HVAC pipe system is made up of 1.5 miles of black iron pipesthat range from 2.5” to 4” in diameter

• HVAC system was breached, corroded and non-functional

• Pipes embedded in parts of the building the customer did notwant to disturb

Gas Lines: Encina Wastewater Authority

Situation

• New Encina Wastewater Authority laboratory wasbuilt with copper pipes for compressed air andargon gas lines

• The customer did not want to cause destructionto the brand new building to get the pipes fixed

Emergency Cooling Water System:Raccoon Mountain Pumped-Storage Plant

Situation

• The emergency cooling system for the plant’s transformers are 8” ductile iron pipes that run

underground, which are embedded in concrete

• The pipe system leaked, and because the customer is a repeat customer of Nu Flow’s, they

knew that we could rehabilitate the pipes without causing destruction to the property orinterrupt normal operations to the busy power plant


• Nu Flow worked within the customer’s strict

budget and timeline

• We installed our Pull-in-Place structural linerto cover all breaks in the pipe and create aseamless, protective, new pipe within the hostpipe

• When compared to a traditional re-pipe, NuFlow’s solution saved the customer at least

$20,000 and prevented a messy constructionsite for the power plant
