what do we mean excatly by this?

Probably a combination of intevention linked to milk yield. If we would like to know the effect of individual intervntions (housing, improved cows, better managment we need a survey approach, otherwise we can do monitoring of milk yileds on a few farms - Isabelle's recoding fomat may help.
