information

Parking PermitsThe student lot offers 370 parking spaces for students. Any student who seeks to gain parking privileges must complete the online application/agreement. Seniors and Juniors receive first priority. Sophomore and Freshmen names will be submitted to a lottery system for permit selection. Students who choose to drive to school without a permit are strongly encouraged to park in either the soccer or baseball lots rather than on the neighborhood streets. Street parking regulations are changing, and street parking is limited. A permit is not required to park in the soccer or baseball lots, yet students need to follow school regulations regarding parking and safe driving practices.

One-to-One TechnologyThis year’s incoming 9th grade students and any transfer student will receive an 11-inch Chromebook computer with a protective case. Students in grades 10-12 will continue to use the devices previously issued. Students receiving a Chromebook for the first time are required, along with their parents, to sign a user agreement, which will be made available to families through the registration process in August. A copy of the user agreement can be accessed on our website.

Bus Transportation All students who are eligible for bus transportation are asked to contact Dousman Transportation after August 2, 2021. A Dousman representative will provide information on your bus route, as well as your pickup and drop-off times. If a student is eligible for bus transportation, but s/he will not be riding the bus, please notify Dousman to have the student’s name removed from the route. You may contact Dousman by phone at (262) 910-1310 or email the terminal manager Ginger at [email protected].

Dear Wolverine Families,

The entire WUHS staff is pleased to have you as partners for this upcoming school year. One of our goals is to find that parents and guardians of students - like the students themselves - are engaged and feel at home at Waterford Union. There are many recognitions that Waterford Union High School accomplished last year, and we look forward to continuing our excellence this school year. You will find important information enclosed regarding back-to-school items as well as a calendar with important dates. You may also want to look at a copy of the WUHS student handbook upon entering school. This handbook does a fantastic job explaining a typical year at our school. By reading it, you will be certain to have a better idea of what to expect. We are glad to have you with us this year, and the entire staff wishes to reassure you that we will do our best to help your child experience academic, social, and emotional growth. After all, our new mission is to inspire all to achieve high expectations and ensure that each student is prepared for college or career and life.

Let’s make this a fantastic school year!

Sincerely,Dr. Lucas Francois, SuperintendentDaniel Foster, PrincipalBrian Belot, Associate PrincipalMark Peperkorn, Associate PrincipalJill Stobber, Athletic-Activities Administrator
