Alleman high school students would like to thank you for your support in our 5th Dance Marathon. All money raised goes to the Iowa City Children’s hospital and this year Alleman raised a total of $34, 210. 95. We have over 320 students participate in this event

and we want to thank the church for allowing us to speak and to collect at Mass. Without the support of the churches and parishioners this would not have been possible. So thank you again and God Bless -- students of AHS.

Jordan Catholic School and 2018 Summer Camps Jordan Catholic School is taking registrations for their 2018 Summer Camps. Camp dates and themes are listed in the brochure. Each week there will be an AM and PM Session at a cost of $75 per session. This includes Before or After Care if needed. Most sessions take a maximum of 20 students and sessions are filling up. Today the 2018 Annual Diocesan Appeal begins in our parish and throughout the Diocese of Peo-ria. This is an opportunity to unite with all Catho-lics in our Diocese to share our blessings and to share God’s love with each other. Remembering that a gift to this Appeal benefits both, our parish

Summer Fest meeting will be held on Monday, April 23rd at 6:30 pm. in the Parish Center. People of St. Ambrose: Our parish rummage sale was a success by the Grace of God and all your hard work and prayers. Thank you to all those who gave their time to setup, sort, work the sale days and to take down. This is a chal-

Wednesday, April 25th at 6:30 in the Parish Center is a mandatory meeting for parents of our 2nd grad-ers. This includes children attending Jordan and Seaton. The First Communion Retreat will be held at St. Pius X in Rock Island on April 29th. Please

drop off your child at Farrell Hall at 10:00 am. They will attend Mass at 10:30 am. Lunch will be provided. If you wish to volunteer to assist at the retreat, please contact Jackie Christopher at 309-787-5361 or by email jackie72hawk@gmail.com.

Rehearsal is Friday, May 11th at 6:00pm in the church and First Communion is Saturday, May 12th at the 5:00 Mass. Pictures will be taken prior to Mass at 4:30 pm. Please arrive by 4:30. A re-ception follows in the Parish Center.
